Dear Parishioners, Recently our Annual Report, “One With” was sent out. Many of you may have received it and have seen our beautifully renovated Retirement Home. Most Blessed Sacrament Parish is listed among the three highest groups of donors. In the next circle is listed the Community Thrift Shop—Franklin Lakes, NJ. I am sure that the highest listing is because of your generosity to our annual March Collection, but I don’t think you realize the amount of money we receive through your Thrift Shop efforts. When clothes and other items come from MBS parish, they go right to “The Head of the Line.” This project is done through the generosity of Jerry Caporuscio who sorts and delivers all the donations. As I go through the yearly report, I see that many parishioners and the Family Foundations contribute in addition to the yearly collection. I feel like a celebrity when someone hears that I am from Franklin Lakes because everyone here knows of your generosity! I enjoyed 44 years of ministry among the people at MBS and now I am enjoying our Community Retirement Villa. Thank you for making this dream become a reality.

God bless you! Sister Anne Lucille Coates

Christmas Hymns from the Cathedral

A quartet of musicians from the Cathedral of John the Baptist in Paterson, NJ created a Christmas Carol CD with the proceeds going to the Cathedral for the purpose of serving the poor, homeless and other unfortunate situations. The CD contains eight Christmas hymns for the fee of $12.50. Call Tom Kieren at 973-214-6473 or email: [email protected]. This commemorative CD seems ideal for gift giving for family and friends during the Christmas season, not to mention its tax deductibility.
