Renovation of the Courthouse and Annex Scope includes, Services to be performed by a qualifi ed general contractor, hereaft er called the Construction Manager (CM). Th e services will consist of pre-construction services and post bid pre-con-struction services, including such items as plan fi nalization, cost estimating and analyses, constructability analysis, sched-uling and phasing, methods and materials input, Value Engi-neering (VE) input and costing, etc., as necessary, as well as construction of the project. Th e CM will assist the Owner in fi nalizing the phasing and scheduling of the work. Chattahoochee County Education Center conducts its Annual Spelling Bee

Kaitlyn Coffey exhibited her profi cient spelling skills to be-come the winner and champion of the Chattahoochee Education Center’s Annual Spelling Bee for 2014. This honor gives her the op-portunity to represent the Chat-tahoochee County Education Center at the District Level Competition on January 29th. Jameson Tatum, was the second place winner and will serve as the alternate. CCEC Educational Specialist and Spelling Bee Coordinator, Betty Sayers commended both Kaitlyn and Jameson for a job well done. All the student participants were recognized and congratu-

Chattahoochee County GED classes are taught in Cusseta and there are openings for new students. The classroom is behind the Board of Education Offi ce and classes are free. The program is for residents ages 16 and older. Class times are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, but if you can’t come to class during the designated hours, you can study at home with our new distant learning program on-line.
