Important Time Clock Reminders: Time Clock Supervisors

Please remember that all missing punches, conflicting shifts and approvals need to be reconciled and approved every Monday by 4:00 pm for the previous work week.

Please ensure that your campus/department compensatory log is submitted to Henry Cordova ([email protected]) or Rene Saucedo ([email protected]) at the end of every month.

If you are a time clock supervisor, please ensure that you have a back-up time clock supervisor that will be taking care of missing punches and approvals in the event that you are out. If training is required for the backup time clock supervisor, please contact Henry Cordova at 915.937.0749 or Rene Saucedo at 915. 937.0212.

Back Safety

Take a few moments to assess the situation before lifting and carrying a heavy object.

• How far will you have to carry the load?

• Is the way clear of clutter, cords, slippery areas, overhangs, stairs, curbs, or uneven surfaces?

• Will there be doors that are closed? Ask someone to hold a door open or place a wedge under the door to hold it open.

• Once you get the load up, will you be able to see over the load, or will the load block your view?

• Can the load be disassembled, carried in pieces, then reassembled?

• When lifting, DON’T TWIST! Remember to move your feet to turn.
