STANDING AIDS

JONCARE VERTICAL STANDERSJoncare manufacturer 6 vertical standing frames from 40cm high to 115cm high. They offer three main types of frames “Varyflex”, “Rigistand” and “Vose”, the Varyflex has an element of movement or bend in the frame whereas the Rigistand is rigid frame unlike the Varyflex. For the tall child Joncare also manufacturer the Vose Vertical stander, which is a rigid stander more heavy duty and has a larger maximum weight capacity. Each standing frame has numerous amounts of accessories available to make the stander as basic or as prescriptive as required.

ATO FORM BS TRI-STANDERThe BS series offers therapeutically correct rising to a standing position from a prone or supine position.

The wide base plate and the narrow top part allow a larger degree of freedom of movement and simultaneously provide the prerequisites of infinitely variable rising from a lying down position, moving to partly standing and then to reach upright standing.

Adjustable foot plates and guided belts as well as other accessories secure the user. There are three sizes available.

MULHOLLAND OMNIThe Omni Stander uses the same highly effective column and body supports as the Rocket Stander. A significant difference is that the Omni can be converted to a Mobility Stander by using the available Mobility Kit. The large wheels are attached with a Quick Release axle. The axle mounting plate, and wheel brakes are included in the kit.

Available in 2 sizes aimed for children from 74cm to 132cm in height.

MULHOLLAND ROCKET The Rocket is available in two sizes, they are multi use standers that quickly adjust to vertical, prone, and supine.

The lever operated tilt will adjust the stander through 90+ degrees while maintaining stability. The tray attaches for both prone and supine use. The body supports are adjustable over a wide range, and can accommodate abnormalities. The device folds for convenience

ATO FORM NOVUM TRI-STANDERThe application of a new concept for lying on the back or front has an anatomically shaped board. The advantage of all standing systems: the patient is supported the whole length and not only at various points of the body. The electric tilt adjustment eases the manual handling issues.

The upholstered anatomically shaped lying surface is extendable through extension cushions.

A therapy table is function-able in any position and additionally supports optimal training of head control. The lowest walk in height is adjustable to 3 cm, almost at floor level. There are three sizes available.

SPECIAL TOMATO SOFT-TOUCH LINERSThese liners offer support and comfort for the child with mild to moderate physical involvement. The liners are made from soft-to-the-touch materials that won’t tear or puncture. The outer skin is impermeable to fluids and easily wiped clean.

SPECIAL TOMATO SOFT-TOUCH SITTERThis soft-to-the-touch seat provides a seating experience for a special needs child that is comfortable and functional. The Soft-Touch Sitters are made from a Latex-Free, Seamless material that is impermeable to fluids and guaranteed to be peel and tear resistant. Special Tomato Soft-Touch Sitters have a strong exterior that will stand up and last, while the inside is a soft, comfortable foam ensuring a comfortable sit. JCM STARThe basic Star seat can be used directly on the floor, allowing the child easier access to playtime activities. Each leg has 75mm of height adjustment to allow for growing leg length or variable table heights. Star footplate flips away for children who can stand from a seated position. CAREFLEX SMALL SMART SEATThe small smart seat is width & depth adjustable, it also has a leg compensating leg rest and built-in (under the chair) footplate. The chair is Tilt-in-space as standard and has optional back angle recline, because the chair width and depth adjusts it really does grow with the child.

ARDOO LIGHTWEIGHT TRAVEL HOIST The Ardoo hoist is a versatile product that can be used both indoors and out. It is a unique product with a one piece construction that can be erected and folded in less than 40 seconds. It is compact enough to be placed into the boot of the car and can be taken on holiday and stored in the hold of an aeroplane. It has a very small footprint therefore is suitable for use in the bathroom and can lift a supine person from the floor.
