Proposed Network Solution

• The area to be covered extends from East Timor to French Polynesia (East - West) and Northern Mariana Islands to French Polynesia (North – South)

• Keeping in view the services to be delivered from India and the basic network requirements, it is proposed to have a combination of Optical Fiber Submarine Link and a Satellite based VSAT network in C-Band, similar to Pan African e-Network.

• TCIL shall explore the possibility of selection of Submarine cable landing station as well as location of the Satellite Hub Earth Station in consultation with representatives of Pacific Island States.
