Almost 60 Years in Business

1952 The one man operation of Pacifi c Blue & White opens on Robson Street.

1980 Increases number of employees to 7 and relocates to Seymour Street.

1993 Current owners, Jonathan & Carol Colley, purchase the company.

1997 Purchases fi rst connected colour copier. At a mere 9 pages per minute it was fast enough to serve the demands of the time.

1998 Number of employees reaches 13, company relocates to 6th and Pine.

1999 Invests in high-speed colour copier to meet the emerging demand for ‘fast turnaround’ colour printing.

2000 Introduces large format printing services with the addition of a full colour plotter and laminator.

2003 Number of employees reaches 30, company relocates to current location on West 2nd and Yukon.

2003 Adds large format scanning capabilities with the addition of the unique Cruse Scanner, the only one available in Western Canada.

2004 Expands services to include cut vinyl, vehicle graphics, banners and signage.

2005 Purchases high-speed full colour digital press to serve the increasing need for ‘On Demand’ and ‘Variable Data’ printing.

2005 To better serve downtown customers PacBlue opens the fi rst ASAP satellite offi ce located on the corner of Nicola & Pender.

2005 To house current and future investments PacBlue adds annex building to main plant location.

2006 Opens the second ASAP location in Richmond near Elmbridge and No. 3 Road.

2006 Purchases 10½’ wide printer to meet the demands for grand format graphics.

2006 Adds the service of printing direct to substrates with the addition of a 5’x 10’ UV fl atbed printer.

2006 Embraces offset printing with the investment of a 29” environmentally friendly digital offset press.

2009 Purchases the Arizona direct-to-substrate fl atbed printer allowing for the printing of 4 colours plus white on almost any substrate imaginable.

We just want to take a moment to thank our PacBlue Printing sales representative, Gary Mann, for proactively providing us with a solution for some POS boxes we needed. PacBlue produced a prototype for us that had our elaborate 6 sided graphics printed directly to fl at cardboard sheets and then diecut and folded to size. It saved us both time and money when compared to our previous solution. We need partners that will offer us solution selling and reduce our marketing cost and PacBlue has proven themselves in this regard.

We recently hosted the annual Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause, which is our signature fund raising event that is held at all BC SPCA locations across BC. PacBlue Printing handled all of our required print from posters to pledge forms and mailers.

PACBLUE PRODUCES QUALITY PRINT BUT IT WAS THEIR GENEROUS HEART THAT IMPRESSED US THE MOST. THE STAFF AT PACBLUE REBUILT ALL THE FILES AT NO CHARGE AND GAVE US DISCOUNTED NON-PROFIT PRICING FOR OUR PRINTING, WHICH ALLOWED US TO ENSURE THAT MORE DOLLARS COULD BE USED TO HELP WITH THE CARE AND PROTECTION OF ANIMALS IN BC.
