Present Tense

We use the Present Tense for :

Facts (things that always true) For example:

1. The sun rises in the morning.

2. It is cold in winter.

3. My sister is a girl.

We use the Present Tense for :

Habits (things people do every day) For example:

1. I eat breakfast everyday.

2. Mary goes to school with Susan every morning.

3. They visit their grandmother every Sunday.

We use the Present Tense for :

Orders / instructions / advice / requests For example:

1. Don’t run in the corridor.

2. Bring your own lunch tomorrow.

3. Please speak louder.
