It’s been an exciting year of change and asuccessful one for Pestalozzi.

Our thanks are due to the Grieg Foundation,the Wolfson Foundation and all those whohave supported us generously this year.We have felt confident enough to embarkon our strategy of increasing the number ofstudents, as well as starting therefurbishment programme of SainsburyHouse.

We have selected 19 students this yearbringing the total number to 37 – a 20%increase on previous years.

We have introduced a new interactivewebsite with the help of Tektonic, which willenable greater engagement with new andexisting supporters. We have also instigateda re-engagement programme with ouralumni with the help of Brighton University.

We have, like all charities, had to review andreduce our administrative cost base andrefocus our charitable and outreachactivities. This was completed at the sametime as we introduced a new computer andtelephone system.

Our second year students achievedscholarships to further their education at arange of prestigious universities in the USA,the UK and Germany. Without the dedicatedsupport of our staff and volunteers this levelof success would not have been achieved byour students.

At our Annual General Meeting in January2011 we looked back on a very successfulyear for Pestalozzi International Village Trust.

Once again we received exceptional supportfrom our donors, particularly from the GriegFoundation. We have increased the numberof students we admitted in August 2010.We also have embarked on a phasedprogramme of refurbishment of ourbuildings, the first results of which havebeen further and better accommodation,enhanced computing facilities for studentsand a centralised and modernised officefacility for our staff. These developments areoutlined in more detail in Paul Evans’account above. The report to the AGMemphasised the deep appreciation of thetrustees for the stirling efforts of our staffunder the direction of Paul, all of whommade these achievements possible ininevitably very difficult circumstances. Wenow have more students, and they all

With the help of the Grieg Foundation weare recruiting a new post that will help usincrease the number of partner countries weare able to select from, and to increase thecultural diversity of our programme. We willalso work to seek intern opportunities forour students if they do not wish to follow auniversity career after gaining their diplomas.

We can only continue to achieve theseresults and give these exceptional youngpeople an opportunity to make a differencein the world with your support. Please helpus in our work with your continued support;it is much needed if we are to continue toselect such deserving young adults.

One challenge we face during the currentyear is to find a successor for Paul Evans asour Chief Executive. He very kindly steppedin to what was then a very difficult situationin January 2009, saying that he would takethe role “for at least one year”. He has nowtold us that he wishes to step down inSeptember 2011. We are tremendouslygrateful to Paul for his efforts andenthusiasm for what will in fact be over twoand half years. Although Paul will certainlybe very difficult to replace, he has made itpossible for us now to advertise the post inthe certain belief that our future is secure.

Once again the Pestalozzi Studentprogramme faced a number of challenges in2010. As part of the Student Programmestrategy to increase the number ofscholarships, we had hoped to offer 22young people from several developingcountries the opportunity to come and livetogether in a multicultural environment andto study the International BaccalaureateDiploma at Sussex Coast College Hastings(SCCH). We made 22 scholarship offers but,due to changes in individual circumstances,only 19 new students joined us duringAugust and September. However, this wasstill a large increase taking our studentnumbers from 30 to 37.

Our major challenge was in helping to getthe new students through the bureaucracyof the visa application process. We werehindered further by a UK Border Agencysuspension on student visa applications forpre-degree courses that impacted upon ourcandidates from Nepal, India and Tibet. Thisremained in place until mid August. Muchreassurance was required to ensure that theselected few did not become toodespondent as a result of the difficulties theywere facing. I am pleased to say there weresmiles and sighs of relief as we met thestudents at the airport after long flights intoa cold and very wet England.

The expansion of the programme took us tothe township of Khayelitsha on the outskirtsof Cape Town. Whilst we were able toexplore links and have a group of studentssit our selection tests, these proved to be astep too far for the young people we metwith on this occasion. Whilst there weremany deserving students, we were facedwith the harsh reality that none would beable to meet the demands of the IB diploma.The difficult decision had to be made not tooffer any scholarships. This year we arebeing a little more cautious with our moveinto new areas with new contacts in Ugandaand Ethiopia offering potential newpartnerships for future development.

With the government set on reducingimmigration into the UK, our incomingstudents for 2011 will face further tests andscrutiny. In August 2010 a new immigrationrule came into effect which means thatprospective students from outside theEuropean Union who are not from a countryclassed as majority English speaking mustprovide a SELT (Secure English LanguageTest) certificate if they intend to study acourse that is lower than Level 6 on theNational Qualification Framework NQF) i.e.lower than Bachelor’s degree level. This ruleaffects those applying for the IB diplomacourse (NQF3).

Those offered conditional places by SCCHand ourselves will have to pass the requiredSecure English Language Test (e.g. IELTS) at aspecified level to allow them to apply for avisa. Through these challenging times wewill continue to do our utmost to continueproviding educational opportunities to thosewho wish to bring about change in theirown communities, countries and globally.

Wangchen from TibetI was born in a village in western Tibet. My family depended heavily on the farm land and their animals.When I was barely seven, my father decided to send me to India with one of his friends. I didn't know anythingabout India, or the reasons for going, but I agreed because I imagined that India was a wonderful paradise.Moreover, I wanted to meet my brother, who had travelled there several years before. As I crossed the Himalayas and reached India, via the Tibetan Reception Centre in Nepal and Dharamshala,my notion of India completely changed. It was no longer a paradise, but a scary, difficult place. I was admitted to SOS TCV School, Gopalpur, and for the first two months suffered turmoil and depression. I was beaten by elders in my home and all I could do was cry silently in my bed. But as time passed, thingsbecame more normal and I knew I must just experience and face it. Amid all these ups and downs in my life, I didn't lose my focus and attention in studies and I did quite well.As a result, when I was in class eight I received an award by His Holiness the Dalai Lama for being the top ofall TCV Common Examinations and I would say this was the turning point of my life, where I found a hopefor my life and potential within me. I felt that I could direct this for my lost nation.

Krishna Kumari Sharma from Nepal

When I was in class 6, I started to learn about the Pestalozzi scholarship. I had seen the top POCT studentsof my school getting this opportunity and this consciousness placed the same dream within me. I was worriedabout how I would pursue my higher education because I knew that my family could not afford it. Pestalozziwas the only known door that I dreamt to knock at. So, continuing with my hard work and the hope of beingblessed with my dream, I applied for the scholarship when I was in 10th grade. As if it was planned thatmagical moment manifested itself in June 2010, showering infinite joy on my family. I am pleased that I have got opportunities to do different extra-curricular activities along with the challengingIB course to broaden the horizon of my knowledge and experience. Achieving many stepping stones likePestalozzi, I want to stand as a doctor and help many mothers like mine by empowering them. I express mydeep gratitude to Pestalozzi for opening the door of many possibilities and strengthening my determinationto follow my dreams.

Thandeka Ncube from Zimbabwe

Through all the struggling, I eventually managed to sit for my GCSEexaminations and attained good results. On receiving the Pestalozzischolarship I realised that I now have a bright future ahead of me. Iam privileged to be currently studying the IB course, which will allowme to study at a university, where I hope to do biomedical engineering.I am grateful for this scholarship as it has not only opened doors forme, but has made me an ambassador for my country.

Ishwar Kohale from IndiaIn India thousands of farmers commit suicide every year due to poverty, illiteracy, and crop failure. With the benefitsof a Pestalozzi scholarship I really think I might be able to help them…When I heard I had been selected as a Pestalozzi scholar, tears of hopes and happiness flowed from my eyes, andmy parents rejoiced, even though they knew that I would be staying away from them. I was brought up in a remotevillage and, as my parents are illiterate, they always wanted me to go to an English school. However, my parentscouldn’t afford to send me to such a school and it was only when I was selected for the Jawahar NavodayaVidyalaya scholarship that hopes of a good secondary education were renewed. After secondary class it was evenmore difficult to afford my studies but luckily I was able to sit the Pestalozzi selection exams and I am still glowingat the fortune this brought. Due to Pestalozzi’s help with my development I am able to dream about helping myparents to combat poverty in my own way – I can dare to dream and I think those dreams can come true.The global family of Pestalozzi, based on the philosophy of educating Head, Heart and Hands, has made medetermined about my future.

Bimala Rawal (2nd year)talks about volunteeringat St Michael’s Hospice...

As always, I went roundevery room to ask theresidents whether theyneeded anything. As Ientered Ward 2, I was

drawn to a man named John. He looked weak andtired. He greeted me with a faded smile and Igreeted him back with a hopeful one, and a bunchof daffodils. He thanked me for the flowers and Iintroduced myself. As the conversation developed,I came to know that this friendly person wassuffering from cancer. To soothe his pain, I talkedwith him about the natural beauties and culture ofmy country and he shared his memories with me. Iprepared tea and discovered I was finding greatpleasure in this – such a contrast to how I feelwhen I am making my own drinks or breakfast. I was soon talking to him like I had known him foryears. I was sharing my culture and religion withhim so confidently and so willingly that I could notbelieve myself. My shyness had gone and I wasfreely expressing my thoughts. I was telling himsome of my secrets and he did the same. We hadso much fun and I realised a deep sense ofattachment with this complete stranger friend.I wanted to give him a longer life, but I knew Icould not. How I wished to develop a remedy forcancer and save the lives of people like him. Soon, the nurse appeared in the ward to take Johnfor physiotherapy. I helped him sit on thewheelchair but I knew that he would soon begone and in a way he was like that beautifulbunch of daffodils. He would only last for a shorttime but I would be able to remember the warmand amiable nature that had given me such anenriching experience.

Pravin Kamble (2nd year)talks about his work withIndian orphans...

A small boy came to mewith a rose in his hand andsaid “Welcome, Pravinbhaiya”. That was part ofthe lovely welcome I

received at Ashramshala, the orphanage where Ivolunteered this summer. I have supportedAshramshala for a year now, as part of anawareness project about Indian orphans. I havemade a website and given talks, but I was actuallyable to visit them this summer and taught Mathsand English to the children. However, I wanted tomake a longer lasting contribution so I arranged aconference with local politicians to try andimprove the facilities. To my delight they agreed toprovide 12 new beds and some clothes. Amidstmonsoon rains, I felt a great satisfaction to seethose children going to school with new uniformsand rain-coats.

Sangay Yeshi (2nd year)can sometimes be heardsinging as he walksthrough the village.

I often go to the beautifulpond near Pestalozzi. Alongwith the twittering wildlifeand melodious rustling of

leaves, I let my voice swing out into the air and Ican sing freely with all my strength. It gives mereal pleasure to be in the countryside, singing myTibetan homeland songs.

We have a long tradition of opera in Tibet and Inever thought I would share this in England.However, when I came to Pestalozzi I was able toaudition for the Glyndebourne Youth Opera andthe final round was held in the GlyndebourneOpera House. The venue was so different to myusual surroundings, but I enjoyed learning aboutWestern Opera and making friends with the otherpeople in the audition workshops. I was not able to take up the place that I wasoffered in the cast, but I still sing for pleasureevery day.

Thupten Dolma(2nd year) writes aboutan experience duringthe Circle of LifeProgramme...

Hanging in my room is asingle black thread with bitsof wood, feathers, leaves

and pinecones tied to it. For all its plainness, thistrinket still attracts the attention of those whovisit my room, but whenever they ask me what itis for I find myself struggling to respond. Someexperiences cannot be described by mere wordsyet a glimpse of the trinket never fails to remindme of the Circle of Life camping weekends I tookpart in this year. During the weekends wecompleted the John Muir Explorer Award. On thesecond day of camping, our instructor gathered usin a circle and spoke of the coming-of-age ritualsof the Native Americans and asked if we wouldlike to do a similar challenge. We wereapprehensive, but I said “yes” instinctively. Andthen I heard that the challenge would be to spenda night alone in the forest, away from the campand the warmth of our tepee. However, I hadmade my decision. Before long, the day faded and as the sun wassetting, I headed off into the woods clutching mysleeping bag. With each step, I felt more distantfrom civilisation. The familiar crackle of the campfire seemed miles away. Instead it was thehowling of the wind and the rustling of the leavesthat surrounded me. In the moonlight, I saw theperfect spot for a shelter under a giant tree. WhilstI lay there I stared at the tree. Being on my own inthat dark space made me feel nervous and I hoped

to fall asleep as quickly as possible. However, tomy surprise, while I lay there, staring at the sky, Iwent into an enriching journey reflecting upon mylife. There I was, a dark figure in the night, thinkingof the successes I have had and the difficulties Ihave had to face.I have seen hardships in life: born a refugee in aTibetan settlement in Southern India, mychildhood was spent among maize fields, coffeeplantations and mooing cattle. My grandparentswere my closest connection to Tibet, with theirfolklores and tales of crossing the Himalayas.Though I had to undertake some challenges in mypersonal life, I also tasted success. School was ahaven for me and learning was a pleasurableexperience. Then I thought of life-changingmoments like being selected for the PestalozziScholarship and all those amazing opportunities tolearn. I could finally reflect upon my past; thedisappointments were never enough to stop mefrom growing and learning. And just like the tree, Iwas willing to adapt and survive. It really mademe think of the ups and downs and the rites ofpassage within the circle of life, and I realised thatI had learnt a valuable lesson that night.That was how I found myself picking up bits fromthe ground and making the trinket in deepthoughts. At some point, I did fall asleep and thenext morning, I woke up refreshed and at peace.Deep within, I was ecstatic that I was still aliveand able to experience this revelation. I felt aproud sense of achievement for it had been one ofthe most enriching and fruitful nights of my life.A period of reflection made my remaining journeyappear clearer and I walked back towards thecamp boundary, the sleeping bag in my hand andthe trinket round my neck.

Tongai Ndlovu (2nd year)volunteered at theBarnardo’s Charity Shopin Hastings...

At my school in Zimbabwein the playground wealways used to play beingshopkeepers; sadly I was

always the customer. But what I really wanted tobe was the shopkeeper, to arrange goods and helppeople make purchases. When I came to Pestalozzi in September 2009 Iwanted to get involved in the local communityand so I started volunteering at the Barnardo’sCharity Shop in Hastings. Not only was I able tosupport a valuable charity , but I finally had thechance to be a shopkeeper! I have really enjoyedthe experience and I truly felt like a useful memberof the local community. I loved decorating theshop and talking to customers. I also learnt a greatdeal about Barnardo’s and although I cannot givefinancial donations to the charity, like Pestalozziit’s in my heart and I will spread the word of bothcauses through my journey in life.

BISHNU THAPABishnu Thapa, Nepali scholar 2004 -2006, graduated from HarvardUniversity in May 2010, majoring inEconomics and Government. He iscurrently working at the World Bankcountry office in Nepal.

“Since September 2010, I have beenworking as a consultant at the World Bankin Kathmandu. I recently helped to carry outan impact evaluation of the project calledPoverty Alleviation Fund (PAF). This was oneof the important criteria in deciding whetherthe project would smoothly move to thenext phase or not. A significant part of mywork is evaluation of data as well as makingeconomic analyses.

My work also involves making field visits tosome of the remotest districts of Nepal.Because PAF is a targeted intervention, manyof the communities and groups supportedby PAF are in remote areas with poor livingconditions. The field visits have been veryhelpful for me to understand how the WorldBank-led programs are having a positiveeffect on the lives of the people there, andhave been providing me with opportunitiesto see and understand the country better.In particular, such visits have been helpingme understand how the people in thevillages perceive the changing political sceneof the country as well as how they arecoping post-civil war.

Coming back to Nepal has been a greatopportunity for me to learn more about thecountry, and be able to understand some ofthe critical issues (economic and otherwise)faced by the country. Having stayed abroadfor a number of years, I have also been ableto reconnect with my family, old friends andthe people and places that I care about. I amabsolutely satisfied with my decision to comeback to Nepal and work for a few yearsbefore I head to graduate school.”

KHUSHBU MISHRAKhushbu Mishra, a Nepali student from2005-2007, is in her final year atMount Holyoke College inMassachusetts, USA, completing adouble major in Economics andMathematics.

In 2010, Khushbu designed the “Painting aPeaceful Present” project, which aimed toempower local Mithila women in her homevillage of Halkhori, Nepal, both socially andeconomically, by establishing an art institute where women can create and selltheir own art.

Over the summer holidays, Khushbureturned to Nepal and set up the JurshitalMithila Art Institute (in Maithili language,“jurshital” means “new beginning”). Twentywomen were trained to produce beautifulMithila paintings based on their existing skillsin traditional Mithila wall paintings.

Mithila Art has just started to gain publicityin Nepal and abroad, presenting anopportunity for the works to be sold attourist centres in cities such as Kathmanduand Pokhara. The profits go to the artistsand the institute, ensuring it remainsfinancially stable and gives the womeneconomic empowerment by making thempart of the productive economy. It is hopedthat eventually these women will havedecision making power in other aspects ofsocial and family life.

In addition, the Institute provides anopportunity to promote Mithila culture,which still remains unknown in other partsof Nepal and is often discriminated against.

LELO NXUMALOLelo Nxumalo, a Zimbabwean studentfrom 2004-2006, graduated fromHampshire College, USA in 2010,majoring in economics. He works forthe International Monetary Fund inWashington DC.

“I started work at the InternationalMonetary Fund after completing myundergraduate studies at HampshireCollege. I work as a Research Assistantprimarily to four country teams within theAfrican Department. These are EquatorialGuinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, andthe Republic of Congo. It is an excitingopportunity and great honour to be part ofan organisation that serves 187 countries.In addition to providing research assistanceto economists, I work on databasemanagement and help prepare country datafor publication in the World EconomicOutlook.

Living and working in Washington DC hasallowed me to expand my knowledge andappreciation of other cultures. I have theopportunity to attend workshops, seminarsand cultural events organized by embassies,policy think tanks, and other internationalorganizations such as the World Bank (whichis located across the street from the IMF).

I want to take this opportunity to thank thetrustees, staff and friends of Pestalozzi foropening a world of possibilities for me andothers from underprivileged communitiesacross the globe.”

This exciting and dynamic projectbegan in the summer of 2010and has really focused theeducation work Outreach does.We are working closely with 11schools across East Sussex, andEast Sussex County CouncilSchool Improvement Service todevelop a more GlobalCurriculum, while consideringthe issues of poverty reductionand sustainability. This project isfunded by UKaid from theDepartment for InternationalDevelopment (DFID).

During the first year of the projectOutreach is working closely with eachschool to develop a range ofstrategies to include global andsustainability learning. In Years 2 and3, Outreach will continue to workwith individual schools and will alsostart to disseminate this learning withother schools in the county.

Some highlights of the school-basedprojects include:

The Bishop Bell CE SchoolYear 7’s accelerated reading schemenow includes a new set of globalthemed books to raise awareness.

Catsfield CEPused Shrove Tuesday to launch theproject, with pupils taking part inFairtrade activities.

Chailey Secondary Schoolhave a new link school in Kathmandu,Nepal, and are planning a celebrationof Nepalese culture and the study ofit in Engish lessons.

Claverham Community Collegenow have ICT equipment, including ascreen in the canteen, to raiseawareness of global issues.

Crowhurst CEP SchoolThe Eco club has promoted globaland sustainability issues to the wholeschool and the local community.

Newick CEP Schoolhave transformed lunchtimes withwebcam images and world music tokick start conversations.

Pevensey & Westham CEP Schoolused Fairtrade Fortnight to launch theproject within the school.

St Mary Magdaleneare working hard to develop theirMarket Garden project.

St Mary Star of the SeaThe Eco Club is working hard todevelop their Market Garden project.

St Peters CE Schoolare planning an International themedweek for all their pupils.

Tollgate Community Junior Schoolare developing their literacyprogramme to include more globaland sustainable themes.

Other events and activities:

In March Pestalozzi celebrated thefirst Climate Change Week with anafternoon of activities for primaryschools designed to promoteawareness about Climate Change andreducing our carbon footprint.

In June a Fairtrade event is planned,providing another opportunity forlocal schools to work with Pestalozzistudents.

Many schools have enjoyed visits fromPestalozzi students, who have helpedto add a more global dimension.

Pestalozzi would very much like to furtherincrease the number of scholarships offerednext year to 50. Objectives and activities ofthe charity

Pestalozzi International VillageTrust (PIVT) promotes theeducational philosophy ofJohann Pestalozzi (1746-1827),of which the principlecomponent is the concept of abalanced programme ofeducation “for the head, heartand hands”. Academicallytalented, service-oriented youngpeople aged 16-19 are selectedfrom low-income families inAfrica and Asia to live as aninternational community withinour estate in East Sussex, whilstattending Sussex Coast CollegeHastings to study for the Inter-national Baccalaureate diploma.

PIVT supports these youngpeople in sharing their culturesand experiences with the localcommunity, througheducational, cultural andvoluntary interaction.

Public benefit that isprovided by the charity

Our students promote positiveinternational understanding byinteracting with the localcommunity, by attending thelocal college, volunteering inlocal charities or helping todeliver a structured programmeof cultural understanding in

local schools. The opportunity to further theeducation of these young peoplealso benefits their homecommunities by raisingeducational standards andopportunities; by living andstudying together they learncultural awareness and gain abroader internationalunderstanding.

PIVT aims to give disadvantaged,talented students an opportunityto change their lives and bringbenefits to their homecommunities. The Outreach education

programme promotesinternational understanding andglobal citizenship through itswork with local schools, groupsand organisations.

During 2009-10 the mainobjectives were to refocus theorganisation into three keyareas, the Student Programme,Outreach and the Estate.

Student Programme

The Student Programme hasstarted to focus on expandingthe number of students who canbe offered a scholarship, with anincrease in student numbers for2010-11 from 30 to 37. Ourshort to mid-term strategy is tofurther increase studentnumbers, consider additionalcountries and build links withpartners within them.Our programme of additionaleducational support, provided bystaff and volunteers at PIVT, inpartnership with the teachingfrom Sussex Coast CollegeHastings led to ten students(83%) gaining the InternationalBaccalaureate diploma this year.Funded places at outstandinguniversities were again awardedto our students, who will begoing on to study in the USA,Germany and the UK.The Student Programme hasremained in a positive financialposition this year thanks to theincrease in donations andlegacies received, for which weare very grateful. Our plan is tocontinue to reduce the cost perstudent as part of the efficiencyand expansion of the StudentProgramme.

Outreach

The Outreach EducationProgramme has undergone a fullstrategic review and refocusingfrom September 2010.The economic difficulties facingthe education sector, has led tous focussing on the “GlobalDimension for SustainableSchools” project funded by DfIDfor three years, enabling us towork with 11 local schools,whilst evaluating our links withour local community, schools,charities, businesses and otherorganisations. The intention is togive the students furtheropportunities to expand theirknowledge whilst assisting thelocal community in a positiveway.

Estate

The Estate is expanding itstrading opportunities, with theaim of completely covering itsown costs as well as theadministrative and overheadcosts of the Charity. We alsohave a programme of capitalworks designed to expand andupgrade the “tired”accommodation facilities, in linewith modern standards, tohouse the planned increase instudent numbers. Our tradingcompany continued theagreement with Travel Class -JCA to use our estate andfacilities to deliver a programmeof activity holidays for some2,000 school children. PestalozziEnterprises Ltd shows a smallloss for the year; this is duemainly to the additional costsbeing allocated to the tradingcompany for the full cost ofmaintaining the buildings usedby PEL, many of which are inneed of major refurbishment.

The contribution ofvolunteers

We acknowledge the excellentcontribution to the organisationmade by volunteers.We continue to work withinternational volunteerorganisations including theEuropean Voluntary Service(EVS), Concordia and FrieslandCollege in the Netherlands.Our international volunteers areinvaluable in assisting with oureducational programme as wellas supporting our estates team.We have also been fortunateonce again to have receivedsupport from many localvolunteers, for which we areextremely grateful.

Fundraising activities

We are grateful for thecontinued support of all ourfunders in what has been adifficult year for many.

Legacy income of £434,428 hasalso meant the trustees havebeen able to designate£300,000 from legacy incomeinto Capital funds in order to

support the refurbishment of thebuildings. We continue toreceive income from Trusts, forwhich we are grateful inconsideration of the globaleconomic situation. Thanks arealso given to our trustee andcouncil members who workdiligently in promoting thecharity.

Financial Review

This has been a positive yearfinancially, with an 80% increasein voluntary income from£675,955 (2009) to £1,213,811(2010). With careful planningand budgeting, we have alsoreduced expenditure by 23%from £1,305,563 (2009) to£1,004,530 (2010). The shortterm loan used to fund the sitedevelopment programme anddue for repayment in January2010 was replaced by a 25 yearmortgage from Barclays Banksecured against the OaklandsEstate.

Funds received in the year havebeen primarily from grants andlegacies. These have allowed usto increase student numbersfrom September 2010 to 37, anincrease of 23%.

Our capital refurbishmentprogramme started during theyear, providing a new roof onour catering facility and doubleglazing to our largest building,Sainsbury House, and to thestaff houses. The refurbishmentof the top floor of SainsburyHouse was also begun in orderto enlarge and modernise theaccommodation to provide forthe planned increase in studentnumbers; this has now beencompleted and we are lookingto continue the first floor andground floor refurbishments.

We are moving towards being amore streamline, cost effectiveorganisation, re-energising thePestalozzi charity to ensure oursupporters see the StudentProgramme as our central focusand the heart of the Charity.
