Presenting
About the Speaker
Clare Maxwell - Originally from Kent, just south of London, she now lives in Leeds, in the north of England. She studied Italian and English at university and then moved to Verona, where she lived for nearly 20 years. During that time she taught English for a number of years at private language schools in Vicenza, Verona, and at the University of Trento. She also worked as an educational consultant for Pearson Education for nine years, offering teacher training seminars and advice about teaching materials to teachers of the Scuole Primaria and Secondaria. She started writing materials for the Scuola Secondaria ten years ago, and has since collaborated on numerous projects: from CD-Roms, to holiday books, workbooks, and ultimately complete courses. She currently combines her writing work with teaching English for Academic Purposes to international students at the University of Leeds.
