Also Sydneyrsquos light rail has entered the testing phase which means for those strataschemes located along the rail corridor who are intending to do maintenance or remedialwork around their buildings a Permit to Work is required before proceeding

Creating a sense of community andhow to go about this is a topic thatis very important to SCA (NSW) asillustrated through our commitmentto research in this area inconjunction with City Futures atthe University of NSW and the SCA(NSW) annual industry award
Following the 2019 NSW election anew Minister has been appointed tothe portfolio of Better Innovationand Regulation which covers stratavia NSW Fair Trading
The new Minister is the Member forTamworth Mr Kevin Anderson whohas been in NSW Parliament since2010 SCA (NSW) has written to theMinister congratulating him on hisnew portfolio and introducing himto who and what SCA (NSW)including the fact that it representstwo million strata owners Ameeting with him has been soughtas soon as possible to enable SCA(NSW) to detail its five-year visionfor the NSW strata sector Fulldetails of the letter and SCA (NSW)key objectives are available here
SYDNEYS LIGHT-RAILENTERS NEW PHASE
Sydney has a new light rail whichhas entered the testing phase whichmeans running the trams along thelight rail corridor Unlike thealready existing light rail corridor inthe Inner West the new CBD andSouth East Light Rail (CSELR) runsthrough city streets requiring
