Readalloftheinstructionsgivenhereandretainthemforlateruse.UnplugthisprojectorfromACpowersupplybeforecleaning.Donotuseliquidoraerosolcleaners.Useadampclothforcleaning.

Followallwarningsandinstructionsmarkedontheprojector.

Foraddedprotectiontotheprojectorduringalightningstorm,orwhenitisleftunattendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,unplugitfromthewalloutlet.Thiswillpreventdamageduetolightningandpowerlinesurges.

Theprojectorusesalampwhichgeneratessignificantheat.Thecoolingfansandairventsareprovidedtodissipatetheheatbydrawingairintothehousingandthefilterislocatedintheintakeventstopreventdustfromgettinginsideoftheprojector.

Inordertocarefortheprojectorappropriately,regularcleaningisrequired.Removeanydirtordustthathasaccumulatedontheprojectorandonorinthefilter.

Iftheprojectordetectsthatthefilterisclogged,a“Filterwarning”icon(red)willappearonthescreenand“WARNINGFILTER”indicatoronthetoppanelwillblink(seebelow).Stopusingtheprojectorimmediatelyandcleanorreplacethefilter.

Blockingtheairventsandleavingtheprojectoruncleanedforalongtimemaynotonlydamagetheprojectorandmayrequirecostlyrepairsbutmayalsocauseaccidentsorfire.

Formaintenanceofthefilter,referto“Filtercounter”onpage57and“MaintenanceandFilterCleaning”onpage58.

Damages to the projector caused by using an uncleaned filter or improper maintenance will void the warranty on the projector .
