It is intended as a guide for anyone seeking information about employee housing and full-time employment with JHMR. This year JHMR will continue to support all departments so as to maximize the efficiency of JHMR Employee Housing. There are several departments that have been negatively affected by recruitment and the inability to offer housing. These departments have been selectively allocated beds to help eliminate the stress that was unnecessarily placed on the business last year. If you applied for one of these departments, the hiring manager(s) will choose among their qualified job applicants who receives an allocated spot. employment with JHMR.

Qualifications & application process

Applicants must accept and maintain full-time employment, 30+ hours/week, with JHMR during the operating season.

Applicants who commit to work the entire operating season will be given preference.

Applicants are required to pass background/credit check. ($30 fee paid by applicant directly to Transunion. Fee

cannot be waived)*

*J1 visa students are exempt with work visa approval through U.S. government.

*Previous tenants with good rental/employment history are exempt. Results/recommendations will be reviewed and

we will contact you with any questions, clarifications or approval. Returning tenants with good rental history, within

last 2 years, are exempt from completing background/credit check.

First month’s rent must be paid prior to or upon move-in date. (Rent is pro-rated based on move-in date).

STEP BY STEP APPLICATION PROCESSS

1. After application is submitted it will be under the review process.

2. The applicant’s full-time job offer will be checked and the applicant will need to complete a credit/background check

(applicant will be contacted via email at this point) as part of the verification process.

3. If applicant passes the check they will be required to determine potential move-in and move-out dates based on work

dates as part of the availability process.

4. Once dates are determined, the property/unit/room will be assigned. If accepted, the applicant will receive

confirmation along with an electronic sublease (rental agreement) that should be reviewed and signed if terms are

agreeable as a part of the placement process.

5. Approved applicants will be sent online credential to pay the security deposit in order to secure unit. Once payment is

submitted you will receive confirmation you have secured your housing.

General rules & info

Due to the shared nature of our employee housing the following are not permitted inside the units: smoking (including e-

cigs, vape pens, etc.); pets/animals; illegal drugs/paraphernalia or any other illegal activities.

Bed/bath linens, pillows/blankets, kitchen utensils/dishes, or cleaning services/supplies are not provided.

Basic furnishings are provided and vary per property. See property info below.

It is recommended to not bring a vehicle for Aspen Meadows, Powderhorn or Rawhide Motel, as parking is very limited

during winter and somewhat limited in the summer months. These 3 properties are near bus lines, grocery stores, coffee

shops and much more. Parking passes are first-come, first-serve and cannot be issued prior to move-in date.

You will need a vehicle for JH Golf & Tennis dorms or Teton Valley motel.

Roommate Assignments: Request roommate name on housing application, assignments are not guaranteed and may be

placed at random.

Property Assignments: Request preference on housing application, property requests are not guaranteed.

Employee/tenant will be allowed to live in housing for a maximum of 4 consecutive seasons (2 years), as long as all

requirements are met and tenant is in good employment standing. Rawhide property has a limit of 2 consecutive seasons.

Employee Housing Information

Powderhorn Employee Housing - 4 bedroom, 2 bath apartment

Rent package: $720/month/person (comprised of base rent $620 for use of the private bedroom; $80 for use

of the common spaces and furnishings and $20 for basic utilities/water/trash/recycling/cable/internet) Deposit: $800* per person due prior to arrival in order to secure room. *A portion of the deposit ($185) is non-refundable to cover cost of a professional deep clean at end of lease term.

Additional charges may be incurred for damages, excessive dirtiness, trash removal or early move-outs.

All units are 4 bedrooms; 2 bathroom apartments with a living room, kitchen, outdoor patio, and storage area

Aspen Meadows Employee Housing – Deluxe Studio with 1 bath

Located within the town limits of Jackson, WY the Aspen Meadows apartments are only a short walk to bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. These studio apartments are furnished* with beds, night stand, table, chairs and a couch. Tenants are responsible for the supplying their own kitchen utensils, towels, linens, etc. as they do not come with the unit. *Apartment floor plans and furnishings vary between units

Rent: $702* per month per person (3 month minimum required for sublease) *includes furnishings, electric, water, trash removal, & recycling. Does not include cable/internet. Deposit: $600* per person due prior to arrival in order to secure room. *A portion of deposit is non-refundable to cover cost of a professional deep cleaning at end of lease term. The Rawhide Motel is located in downtown Jackson, WY near public transportation,

restaurants, movie theaters and much more. Most rooms (shared with 1 other person) have 2

queen-size beds, a mini-fridge and a microwave. There are also a limited number of private

rooms with a single queen-size bed that are ideal for couples.

Rent: $620* per month per person for shared room (2 max occupancy); Rates vary for private rooms.*Includes furnishings electric, water, Wi-Fi, basic cable, recycling, and trash removal.

Deposit: $600* per person due prior to arrival in order to secure room; Deposits vary for private rooms. *A portion of deposit is non-refundable to cover cost of a professional deep cleaning at end of lease term. Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis 7 & 8 bedroom dorms

The JH Golf & Tennis dorms are located 20 minutes north of Jackson. These units are not near

public transportation so you would be required to have a vehicle. Each unit has 2 washer and

dryers. Comes fully furnished and all utilities are included. All beds are twin size except for 3

rooms that have full beds.

Rent: $600* per month per person *Includes furnishings, electric, water, Wi-Fi, basic cable and trash

removal.

Teton Valley Motel The Teton Valley Motel is located in Victor, ID about 26.5 miles away (40 minute drive) over

Teton Pass from Teton Village. These units are not near public transportation so you would be

required to have a vehicle. Rooms come fully furnished and all utilities are included. All beds are

queen size.

Rent: $540* per month per person *Includes furnishings, electric, water, Wi-Fi, basic cable and trash

removal.

Deposit: $600* per person due prior to arrival in order to secure room *A portion of deposit is non-refundable to cover cost of a professional deep cleaning at end of lease term. Additional charges may be incurred for damages, excessive dirtiness, or early move-outs.
