Vale and Commonwealth hired Ganotec to install four steel liners which rise up with the stacks. Two new stacks are 450 feet high, located at the Vale Smelter, in Sudbury, Ontario.More than 2600 feet of carbon and stainless steel flux core welding was completed by boilermakers with a repair rate of less than 0.004%.The team is seeking continuous improvement by elevating welding productivity with no quality compromise.
