Over the past 6 years, I have worked with Dermot Kerins and Outlook Gardens on many important projects throughout South Africa, Ireland, UK and Europe. Dermot is the best project manager I have worked with, anywhere. His quest to deliver exactly what the designer and client want is unstoppable, and he goes way beyond the call of duty. He takes time to understand a plan, developing work schedules, sourcing materials and samples, with an unmatched knowledge of specimen plant sources from all over Europe and beyond. I design gardens which can be challenging to build, and without Dermot they would remain pretty pictures on paper. If I want a garden with seven terraces, or a leader to bring diverse skills, materials and trades together to create a sanctuary garden or a rambling dynamic landscape, Dermot is the man I trust. Maintenance Services and Management

Our maintenance service is based on the ‘Craft of Gardening’, incorporating professional horticultural techniques, the latest and best equipment to ensure the ongoing care and nurturing of your garden, at all times of the year. We provide a comprehensive service, which can be on an annual contract basis or an ‘on call’, full or half day service. We work with property management companies, local authorities, architects, public and private business and individuals, to provide outstanding landscape and garden maintenance.

Outlook Gardens were Project Managers and contractors of the ‘Sky Garden’ designed by Diarmuid Gavin. This €500,000 project was delivered in 3 weeks and achieved a Gold Medal. All staff and contractors were hired directly for the project, including many volunteers. Outlook Gardens managed all procurement, budget, health and safety requirements, build and delivery of the project on-site.

Outlook Gardens were Project Managers and contractors for the ‘Westland Magical Tower Garden’ designed by Diarmuid Gavin. It achieved Silver Gilt and Most Creative in show and was a €500,000+ project delivered in 3 weeks. All staff and contractors were hired directly, including many volunteers. Outlook Gardens managed all of the procurement, budget, health and safety requirements and delivery of the project on-site.

Dermot Kerins, Outlook Gardens has project managed and built outstanding gardens throughout Ireland, UK and Europe for the past 20 years. He has won many awards throughout his career both in Ireland and the UK. He is proud to have been involved in the charity garden builds for the Simon Community and for children in the townships of South Africa. His love and passion for landscaping is seen in the many spectacular gardens he and his team have built throughout Europe.

Outlook Gardens have a strong commitment to understanding andfulfilling the client’s brief, the final designs and processes, while keep-ing to budget, and creating wonderful, innovative, functional gardens and landscapes. Using our developed and proven systems and with the use of design and planning applications like AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop, we can produce detailed drawings and 3D simulations and models with precise construction detail. Concepts and designs are easily understood and interpreted by everyone involved in the project.
