The Bina programme Focuses on Building Knowledge and

Confidence of 11-13 year olds, so they can make informed choices, and lead healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilled lives.The programme also improves 3 key skills:• Critical thinking• Literacy• Communications

It achieves this by using graphic illustrated ‘easily-relate-to’ stories about four teens around six themes:• Integrity• Respect• Dealing with disappointment• Reliability• Accountability• Courage

How the programme works

Step 1 - Story telling through the illustrations set out in a PowerPoint Presentation (compatible with all school whiteboards)

Step 2 – Start the activity using the exercise worksheets provided

Step 3 – Collect exercise sheets back and start discussing the issues from the story
