Introduction

Gas cylinders are considered as the source of energy commonly used at homes. It is characterized by its ease of use where it is for cooking and heating .But may be causing problems such as gas leak !

Page 3: Outline

Problem Definition

There are many situations :• Gas cylinders and valves accessories

and fittings , tubes may be damaged .

• House members may leave gas without closing it when they are outside house.

Suggested Solutions

Mechanical piece installed on the gas cylinder has two functions :

• Ability to closing the gas , if it's open we can close it remotely , and the mechanical piece should be connected to GSM .

• Gas sensors (if gas leakage it's automatically closed )Reminds users to closing the gas cylinder when they are leave the house.(Under implementation)

Testing

• Unit testing .• Integration testing.• Performance testing.• Usability testing.

Usability Testingthe system has been tested and distributed a questionnaire to a group of 10 housewives by giving them several tasks to use the system and a summary of the results were as follows: • 80% believe that the provided task is easy, and

20% see it as normal. • 90% have completed the test functions without

the need for assistance and 10% have been helping them to perform certain tasks.

• 100% indicated that all the buttons are understandable and also the quality and consistency of the program is high.

Implementation Difficulties

• Lack of information about systems that use GSM technology .

• الصمام• الربط بين السوفتوير والهاردوير

Future Work

In future we are going to add many other features to the system such as: • system can send a message to the

shop when the gas cylinder needs to be exchanged

• user can know about gas amount from application

• Supports multiple IP cameras
