Outdoor Furniture plays an important role in our communities, by adding an inviting and social atmosphere, a place to meet and socialise, or simply to get a moment of rest.

An inspirational site The social and inclusive playground

WALKWAYInviting WALKWAY for better accessibility, including resting places. Benches with backrest are placed outside the walkway on hard surface with space for wheelchairs next to the benches, according to inclusive guidelines. A good rule of thumb is to position the benches every 25m along the walkway for increased accessibility, aligned with furniture standards for inclusion and accessibility.

SOCIAL AREAThe SOCIAL AREA makes room for more families to have a picnic break while visiting the playground. This adds a great social atmosphere, attracts more visitors and makes them stay longer. Inclusive furniture is placed on hard surface according to inclusion and accessibility standards.

NEARBY PLAYZONESSeating NEARBY PLAYZONES makes it easy for parents and caregivers to watch the children play while being able to socialise and interact. Benches without backrest are used with the advantage of being non-directional.


The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) requires using universal design principles when creating public spac-es. Installing AGORA furniture in a public area goes beyond satisfying all inclusive design requirements.

Siberian larch ages with patina and develops into a beautiful silver grey colour over time.

Natural impregnation without chemical additives makes Siberian larch very durable in a natural way.
