Campers 11 years and older may go kayaking.
Indian Village Themes
Lost and Found - Which way is north? How do I read this map? Help I’m
lost!! Campers will learn to use maps and a compass to find hidden treasures
around Indian Village. They will even create maps to lead other campers to
secret locations. Older campers will learn to use a GPS and find a geocache!
Animal Planet - Coyotes and deer and raccoons, OH MY! Discover the
animals that make their homes in the woods surrounding Indian Village. Hunt for
bugs, touch a snake, and play animal games. See live animals up close when
“The Bugman” visits with some of his six legged friends!
Wilderness “Ed”-ventures - Enjoy a week full of exciting “ED”-
ventures. Learn tracking skills and use them to search for wildlife and to
track CITs during the CIT Hunt! Other activities include building shelters,
using camouflage, and playing in a mud pit!
Whoa H2O - Stay cool this week while discovering the wild side of water.
Fun activities and games will help keep us cool and get soaked. Get drenched
in a water relay; explore the falls and creek at Hayden Falls; dive into our creek
and study the critters that live there. Discover ways to keep our water clean
with a visit from the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Best of Indian Village - Spend this week building forts and playing all your
favorite Indian Village games, including Sock Wars! With a new time slot called
Counselor’s Choice, this week will feature what the counselors are passionate
about. Best of Indian Village week will conclude with an epic water balloon battle!
