May 19, 2019 Our worship...
We are in desperate need to restock our Food Pantry… We are helping so many people from our community it is becoming hard to keep our pantry shelves stocked. We can use almost any kind of canned staple (cannot be expired). But we can especially use soup, stew, canned meats (tuna fish, etc.) We probably will not need any more green beans until this fall, but other vegetables, and fruit cocktail are always welcome (OK, we’ll take the green beans too).
Thanks to Freda and others who helped with the Senior Saints Spring Fling… This a fun group and always enjoy being together.
June 2 is a special Sunday for us as we celebrate our graduates and the new babies among us… Maybe, you have never thought of this as an outreach opportunity. But if you have a friend or neighbor who has had a baby in the past year invite them to be with us that Sunday. (If you let us know by next Sunday, May 26 then we can have a baby Bible for their child.) Hamburger/hot dog cook-out follows. Bring side dishes.

Our Mission/Outreach Offering is June 2… We need your generous help! Besides the standard outreach/mission efforts we will continue, we are attempting the important mission to Salmon Arm, Can-ada; a new summer outreach to local children called “Summer Spectacular”; establishing a mission scholarship to help our members to be more in-volved in missions; a special “Neighbor Day” to invite our neighbors to join us the Sunday before Easter; And a new outreach to returning vets in our area; and much more. Please pray and plan your involve-ment. We really need your help! If you will be absent on June 2 you will be able to participate in the giving to the mission/outreach fund next Sunday (May 26).

Our Senior Celebration, in which we take time during our worship service to pray for and honor our graduates, will take place in two weeks on Sunday, June 2nd. Our Seniors this year are: Ty Evans, Elyse Mills, Jacob Roush, Adam Rude, and Grant Wood. Each Senior will have a “memory table” set up if you’d like to leave a card, gift, or note of encouragement.
