We have five beautiful function rooms to host your special day, holdingup to 310 guests. The spacious Paris Suite has its own private bar and plenty of room forevening entertainment and, the more intimate Hansom Room overlooksthe lake. There are several large public areas ideal for hosting drinksreceptions or themed events including the Rotunda and Triumph Barfeaturing a motorcycle. The picturesque lake within the groundsprovides an ideal setting for your photographs.

Who is the contact on the day?You will have a dedicated contact on your wedding day toensure everything runs smoothly, this will be either theWedding Co-ordinator or Banqueting Manager.
What happens at a civil ceremony?A civil ceremony is a non religious ceremony the Registrarfrom Hinckley & Bosworth Conducts.
Can we book the civil ceremony with you?Your civil ceremony must be booked directly with the localRegistrar, we only provide the civil ceremony room. You cancontact the Registrar on 0116 3056565.
What time does the bar close?Our bar closes at 2am to non residents.
How many people can you seat round each table?Round tables will be used which can seat up to 12 guests pertable.
Can we use the civil ceremony flowers for the top table?Yes, details such as this can be discussed at your final meetingwith the Wedding Co-ordinator so that we can arrange anyfinal requests for you.
Can we provide our own flowers/entertainment/beverages?We are more than happy for you to arrange your own flowersand entertainment, however, you are not able to provide yourown beverages.
What is a wedding breakfast?The wedding breakfast is the first meal that you share togetheras husband and wife.
What shape is your cake stand?We have both round and square cake stands.
How many people should we cater for in the evening?You are required to cater for all of your evening guests.
What is the etiquette for the receiving line/top table/speeches?How you wish to run your day is completely up to you. Thetraditional wedding etiquette for the receiving line and toptable includes the Bride and Groom, both sets of Parents, Maidof Honour and Best Man, the speeches generally come fromthe Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man.
How do we make a booking?To book Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel for your wedding pleasecontact the Wedding Co-ordinator on 01455 630684. We will askyou to pay a £500 deposit and sign a contract with the hotel toconfirm your booking.
When do we pay?Three months prior to the wedding we will ask for 50% of thecost. The remaining balance needs to be paid 28 days prior tothe wedding date.

Accommodation
Wedding night accommodation for the Bride and Groom is included in thewedding package.
20 guest bedrooms will be reserved for your wedding guests. These are pricedfrom £75.00 per room, including breakfast. Guests can book these directly with thehotel, and they will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Any rooms notbooked 4 weeks prior to your wedding day will be released.
Babysitting
If you or your guests need to arrange a babysitter, babysitting and mobile crècheservices are provided by Safehands, an external, fully registered child mindingagency. T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S
Booking Terms: We are happy to provisionally hold a date for 14 days with noobligation, following this time a non-refundable deposit of £500.00 to securethe date is required. A contract and wedding policy is then issued outlining anitinerary of the day. Three months prior to the wedding, 50% of the totalanticipated amount is due with full pre-payment being settled at least 28 daysprior to the wedding date. Payment for any additional charges incurred mustbe received within 14 days after the wedding.
Civil Ceremonies: If you are having a civil ceremony, we recommend youcontact the local Registrar prior to confirming your booking with the hotel toensure the date and times tie in.
Accommodation: Any provisionally booked wedding bedrooms not confirmed4 weeks prior to the wedding may be released.
Evening Buffet: 100% of the evening function guests should be catered for.
We recommend that you take out Wedding Insurance.
Self-catered Asian and Multi-Cultural Weddings:We are happy for you to use your own caterers and give you use of a section ofthe kitchen. You are required to select a responsible and professional catererto cater for your function. The caterer should be able to fulfil the health, safetyand hygiene requirements as set out by the hotel’s health and safety advisor.
All caterers will be expected to pay a £500 refundable deposit, to ensure theyleave the kitchen in the same state they found it in.
Your caterers are required to sign a declaration that they are responsible for allfood items provided for your event and to abide by the hotels health & hygieneregulations at all times.
The caterers are responsible for providing all the necessary equipment inorder to prepare and serve the meal. The hotel does not hire or loan anyequipment on your behalf.
The hotel accepts no liability for any goods left on the premises before, duringor after the function.
Should your require waiting staff we are happy to provide this, a price isavailable on request.
All prices are correct at time of going to print and are subject to change priorto your wedding.
