Federal EIN: 41-1730200 State of MN Tax ID: 1880183 We entered 2020 on a high note, with 255 active music students. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck in March 2020, a number of students were not able to continue because of family circumstances or simply difficulty with online instruction. We transitioned back to in-person lessons in September, and welcomed both new and returning students taking part in both in-person and virtual lessons. We were even able to hold our winter recitals with students and their instructors gathering in our performance hall, and family viewing via Facebook Live from their cars in the parking lot, or from their living rooms across the state and the country. Even Canada and Costa Rica! We are relieved and grateful to be ending the year with 236 youth and adults taking part in our music program each week. Our goal is to retain these students and simply stay the course through the coming year. So much is different this year - smaller groups, masks, six foot distances, virtual communications and instruction. We do not take for granted what we are able to do. We have been grateful to hold our core programs for much of the year, including youth and adult pottery and art clubs for children and teens. Other 2020 highlights: Headwaters Heroes Instructor Showcase Halloween Music Show Open Art Studio Summer Program Fingerpaint Technique Workshop Series led by Alice Blessing Summer Musical Theater Camp
