yrs old are invited to join our vibrant ministry. We ask for parents to consider working along with our ministry as their child(ren) are a part of our club. We meet on 2nd & 4th Sundays at DAJA from 10a-1p. Please see Madeleine Grant-Williams, Director or Tiffani Byrd, Registrar for more information.
2. CHILDREN’S CHURCH • Greetings everyone and happy new year! That time has come around again, our first children's
church of 2018 will take place January 6th. Join us as we enter into this new season and highlight Heroes and Sheroes of the bible! This month we will focus on the characteristic traits of the true" Armour of God." Children ages 4-12 are welcome and remember to bring a friend!
• ***Parents please remember to sign your children in and out for Children's Church. This is really important, we want to ensure that each child is safe and are returned to the appropriate guardian. Immediately after church service, you will need to come and retrieve your child. Your child will not be released until they are properly signed out for Children's Church. Thank you for your cooperation!

5. FINANCE DEPARTMENT • The Georgia Private School Tax Credit Law allows you to receive tax credits for donations to
Student Scholarship Organizations (SSOs). SSOs provide student scholarships for eligible children who plan to attend private schools. Decatur Adventist Junior Academy (DAJA) works with an SSO called Arete Scholars. This program can help more students attend DAJA. By redirecting your state tax dollars and naming DAJA as the recipient, you will receive a tax credit for the amount redirected. With a tax credit you receive all of your redirected taxes back when you file your tax return; therefore, this costs you nothing!
