Arunodoi Academy is a reputed school of Tangla, which was established in 2006. Within 8 years of its existence, the school has brought glory to the entire district with its brilliant result and other activities.

Mr. Napoleon Daimari is the present principal of the School. The founder principal of our school was Mr. L.K. Ramchiary.

Our school has a special environment, where certain qualities of life including physical and moral trainings are provided with the object of student’s development. Arunodoi Academy is a mini society, where all types of faith, creeds, religions, secular values etc. are developed.

For popularising science, our school has been organising Science based exhibition regularly. Students have been participating in the NCSC projects and representing the school in the State and National level seminars.

In the field of education our school is doing excellent in HSLC results securing highest ranks in the district for several times.

Our school teams of football and cricket have won prizes in different competitions. In National Tchawk ball competition our school students have participated in Jaipur, Rajasthan and the Boys’ Team was awarded with the Best Disciplined Team in 2011.

In 2010, our school has been upgraded to Class-XII with both Science and Arts streams.

Our Teachers are very helpful and friendly to us. We have 30 well experienced teachers of repute in our school.
