The UNITED NATIONS GENERAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (UDHR), adopted in 1948 with the support of all member states, is considered the most important international instrument in the field of human rights.

In its 30 articles, it sets out the fundamental human rights that must be protected everywhere in the world.
