Our PubA warm welcome awaits at our family run pub, a hub for real ale

drinkers and walkers alike. A traditional 17th century village inn,

where highwayman Dick Turpin is reported to have frequented on

his travels. With fresh homecooked food, a selection of fine real ales

and warmth from the open fires, there is much to tempt you.

Our FoodAll our food is fresh and homemade on the premises. We use a

local, reputable butcher and grocer, who supply us with the finest

quality meats, fruit, vegetables and dairy to ensure we maintain

our consistent high standards. Our aim is to provide great value,

wholesome and traditional fayre. A selection of award winning Pork

Pies, Platters, Cheeseboards, and Filled Rolls are available at all times to eat in or take away.

Our EventsWe hold two annual Beer Festivals in March and October with

up to 25 real ales, many from Derbyshire Breweries and live music.

Throughout the year we hold monthly themed food evenings, with

specially selected traditional menus and an eclectic mix of live

music. We embrace and support local events, from May Day to the

New Years Day Fun Run. All our events and further details can be
