The Calendar of Events page helps
destination-oriented travelers get the
most out of their vacations. Once users
have viewed the Calendar, they tend to
return the site, and then either go on to
view more information about the area or
begin checking rates.

the user to select different categories of interest.
There’s a scrolling mileage bar that enables the
user to change the distance and see more or
less of the map. A large blue map marker
indicates the hotel’s location, while the smaller
tan map markers indicate points of interest.
When you click on a point of interest, the
address and phone number pop up.
₋ Footer: nice and simple. It contains a few
navigation items, but most of the navigation is
found in the hamburger menu. There’s an email
widget to stay connected and basic contact
information.

The Groups Pages Module allows hoteliers to create customized landing
pages for group guests to read about their upcoming event; view details
about the hotel, location, room features, and amenities; and to complete a
booking. The pages can be created by the property and distributed to

• HEBS Digital and our sister company Serenata CRM are well aware and well prepared for GDPR (The European Union General Data Protection Regulation - EU GDPR), coming into effect on 25 May 2018, which will replace the current 22-year-old EU Data Protection Directive. Since early 2017 we have retained European GDPR consultants and lawyers to guide us through the GDPR requirements, since over 50% of client portfolio of Serenata CRM consists of Europe-based hotel chains and companies, and a number of HEBS Digital hotel clients are based in Europe. Just as an illustration, we have addressed all main GDPR requirements concerning website GDPR-compliancy:
• Consumer Consent i.e. personal data must be collected for a very specific, pre-defined purpose, and follow up permission must be requested to use the data if it needs to be used outside of the original intent i.e. Guest booking data used to secure a reservation cannot be used for marketing without requesting permission by the customer to do so. In addition, Double Opt-In becomes mandatory for any email sign-up and keeping records of it a must.
• Data Accuracy i.e. all personal data must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Data Minimization i.e. collect only the minimum amount of customer data to do the job, as well as adhere to the ‘storage limitation principle’ which mandates that personal data must be stored for no longer than is required and that individuals must be informed about the planned
• Data encryption: encrypt all personal data when stored in a database – Ex. any guest profiles stored in a CRM private cloud need to be encrypted so if there is a breach, the data would be unreadable.
• Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency principle: Consumers have the “Right to be Forgotten”, and all of their data deleted from the database, as well the right to access their personal data stored by the organization.
