Silent Auction Needs Donations

As you all know, the 37th Annual Oktoberfest is quickly approaching on Sept 23-25. The Silent Auction team is asking for donations of gift certificates, merchandise, airline tickets, time shares, and/or services. All items donated are tax deductible. Donation forms are available by emailing silentauction@smdpyl.org. Please request a form even if you wish the donation to be anonymous. Thank you for your continued support of the Silent Auction at Oktoberfest. Without you we would not be able to be as successful as we have always been. All items are due by September 16, 2016. Rare Oktoberfest Opportunity!

We are seeking a new "Games Chairperson" to oversee the operation of our game booths during our annual Oktoberfest. Current Chair is looking to step down next year so it would be a great chance to shadow and learn this September! No experience necessary, just a desire to serve. Dear Parishioners, The Catholic Cemeteries is providing a pre-need planning program for Catholic families in Orange County. Family burial arrangements are among the most important and inevitable decision a Catholic must make. Because of the many emotional and financial savings that result by planning these arrangements in advance of need, the Diocese of Orange urges all Catholic families to learn about their burial options. The apostolic and administrative work of Catholic Cemeteries truly reflects the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. I thank Bishop Brown for his work with Catholic Cemeteries here, it is my turn now to support the efforts of the Catholic Cemeteries and invite you to ask questions about the information you will be provided.
