We will...
• Deliver a cost improvement programme including reducing out of area placements for mental health in-patients, reducing the cost of bank and agency staffing and taking over some Information Management and Technology functions from the Commissioning Support Unit.
• Generate additional income by marketing our existing Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit services, 4 new Assessment and Treatment Unit beds, and 12 new Intensive Therapy Centre beds to out of area commissioners.
• Achieve a strong financial position through meeting our financial targets and making appropriate investments.
• Improve the rate of harm-free care in community health services.
• Reduce the risk of suicide.
• Encourage a culture of openness, transparency and continual improvement.

• Improve the number and quality of carers’ assessments.
• Improve integrated, community care for people at high risk of falls.
• Improve clustering performance to ensure personalised packages of care are identified for mental health service users.
PERSONAL
• Improve response for people with a mental health crisis.
• Address and reduce the physical health inequalities experienced by people with mental illness.
• Encourage staff pride in the quality of services provided by the Trust.

Develop an Integrated Children’s Care Pathway with Local Authority Children’s Centres
