related complications of diabetes and hypertension.

$10.7 million/year, $21.4/biennium. Renewal of NIH Clinical and Translational Sciences Award.

Improve the access to and delivery of healthcare by translating the latest knowledge and research developments into disease management for

patients. Recruit 31 new faculty members in critical areas. Create infrastructure to further enable collaboration with universities and institutions across Texas.
