113% increase in net assets, from $471 million in FY 2002 to more than $1 billion in FY 2007.

853 medical residents participate in 85 ACGME

and TMB programs; 118 new positions since 2000.

$10.75 million/year, $21.5 million/biennium. Increase enrollment by 360 Master of Public Health students, 40 doctoral students and 150 graduate

level certificate students.

Expand patient-oriented research to address the critically important public health threat of obesity and its

related complications of diabetes and hypertension.

$10.7 million/year, $21.4/biennium. Renewal of NIH Clinical and Translational Sciences Award.
