CELEBRATION STORY

International Centerof KentuckyAs we continue to live into our inviting spirit in 2017, Broadway has welcomed new partnerships to support the Bowling Green community. The International Center of Kentucky is one of those partners.

The center is a refugee resettlement agency started in 1981 that addresses the needs of refugees and immigrants in their assimilation and integration into community life by providing employment, educational, housing, and other social services.

WHY THE CENTER IS NEEDED:

42 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE BEEN UPROOTED WORLDWIDE

Of the 42 million...

• 839,000 are asylum seekers.• 6.6 million are stateless people.• 15.2 million are refugees.• 80% of refugees are women, children, and elderly.

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?- The entire month of February all loose dollar bills given in the offering will go toward supporting the work of the International Center of Kentucky.

- Visit their website icofky.org to learn more about the center and how you can become a volunteer!
