rigogliosa natura. Lungo le sponde si susseguono antichi borghi che raccontano, nella loro pittoresca

semplicità, la storia del luogo, scritta dalle nobili famiglie legate alla propria terra, che attraverso una

fede incrollabile hanno dato vita a grandiose opere d’arte. Uno specchio d’acqua da vivere nelle sue

quattro stagioni: i vivi riflessi giocati dal sole primaverile ed estivo sono altrettanto affascinanti dei

variopinti colori autunnali e dei contorni di un paesaggio sfumato dalle nebbie invernali.

A small lake! And yet studded with pearls you can admire quietly and serenely. Encircled by

gentle hills and not far from impressive mountainous tops, it is surrounded by a luxuriant

greenery. Ancient villages follow one another along its shores and in their picturesque

simplicity, they tell the history of the place, written by the noble families who were bound to their

own land and who produced great works of art, thanks to their unshakeable faith. A sheet of water

you can live during its four seasons: the bright reflections of the spring and summer sun are as

fascinating as the varied autumn colors and as the edges of a landscape shaded by winter fogs.

ont donné vie à des œuvres d’art grandioses. Un miroir d’eau à vivre dans ses quatre saisons: les vifs

reflets joués par le soleil printanier et estival sont autant fascinants que les couleurs bariolées

d’automne et les contours d’un paysage nuancé de la brume hivernale.

Con la sua originale forma “a scarpetta” permette, dalle sue sponde, di ammirare la bellezza

di Varese e del territorio circostante e di coglierne i contrasti. Piccoli paesi brulicanti di

quotidiana frenesia, dove scoprire interessanti monumenti per ricostruire l’antico insediamento

umano, si alternano ai silenzi di una natura incontaminata e rigogliosa, in cui folti boschi cedono il

passo a suggestive aree paludose. Lo sport è il suo compagno per eccellenza: un anello di 28 km

invita a praticare attività sportive all’aria aperta e a percorrere l’area circostante che vede il vicino

Lago di Comabbio “ammanettato” da un altro tratto di pista ciclo-pedonale.

Thanks to its odd shoe-shape, from its shores, you can admire the beauty of Varese and of

the surrounding area and seize its contrasts. Small and busy villages, where you can

discover interesting monuments to reconstruct the past human settlement, alternate with a silent,

unspoilt and luxuriant greenery, in which thick woods are ousted by striking marshlands. Sport is its

favourite fellow: a 28 kms’ track gives you the opportunity to practice open-air activities and to cover

the surrounding area, which sees the near Lake of Comabbio “handcuffed” by another tract of cycle -

pedestrian track.

kilomètres de distance! Avec sa forme originale "en chaussure" il permet, de ses berges,

reconstruire l'ancienne installation humaine s’alternent aux silences d'une nature intacte et

luxuriante dans laquelle les bois touffus cèdent le pas aux suggestives zones marécageuses. Le

sport est son allié par excellence: un anneau de 28 km invite à pratiquer des activités sportives en

plein air et à parcourir la zone environnante qui voit le voisin Lac de Comabbio "menotté" par un autre

bout de piste cyclable et piétonnière.

Er liegt nicht weit von der Stadt, nur ein paar Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Der See

hat eine “Schuhform”, dank der man von der Ferne die Schönheit der Stadt Varese und

deren Umgebung bewundern kann. Hier und da die kleinen eifrigen Dörfer, wo man

interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten entdecken kann, die von den ersten menschlichen Siedlungen

zeugen. Die Natur herum ist üppig und wild, mit Wäldern und Sumpfgebieten. Um den See herum ein

28 Kilometer langer Fahrradweg, wo man auch Sport treiben kann. In der Nähe ein anderer

Fahrradweg, der zu einem anderen See - dem Comabbio See - führt.
