Fish Fry! Faith Formation will have their Fish Fry Dinner in the Parish Center every Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM during Lent. Prices are $8.00 a plate which includes a drink and dessert. Festival Bajo el Agua El pasado Domingo, tuvimos uno de las mas increíbles experiencias de Dios. Muchos de nosotros estuvimos orando para tener un día hermoso para nuestro festival y la respuesta a nuestras oraciones fue una fuerte lluvia. Yo estaba muy estresado de ver que mientras mas rezábamos, mas agua caía. Alguien se acercó a decirme “Padre no veo el milagro que estamos pidiendo” Puedo decirles que al final del festival he visto y experimentado el milagro maravilloso de Dios. Nuestra devota comunidad llegaron juntos, enfrentando los desafíos que tuvimos en ese momento. En mi corazón están todos los feligreses, que desde muy temprano estuvieron preparando toda la comida y trabajando para preparar el evento de nuestro festival, juntos hicimos el milagro. Comprobamos que la fe que tenemos juntos como comunidad está viva en nuestra Parroquia. Quiero darles las gracias a cada uno porque sé que todos hicimos un trabajo increíble para hacer de nuestro festival un éxito. El milagro fue el amor, el compromiso y la unión que experimentamos el pasado domingo. Y sí, fue un Festival exitoso, gracias a todos por trabajar juntos. Underwater Festival Last Sunday, we had one of the most amazing experiences from God. Many of us were praying for wonderful weather for our festival and the answer to our prayers was the heavy rain. I was very stressed to see that as we were praying more water was raining down. Someone came to ask me, “Father, I don't see the miracle that we are asking for”. I can tell you that at the end of the festival, I had seen and experienced the wonderful miracle from God. Our devoted community came together facing the challenges that we had in that moment. In my heart, it is all of these parishioners who since very early in the morning were preparing all the food and working to set up for the success of our festival that together made this miracle. We proved that the faith that is bringing us together as a community is alive in our parish. I want to thank everyone because I know that all of us did an amazing job in order to make our festival a success. The miracle was the love, the commitment, and the unity that brought us together last Sunday. And yes, it was a successful festival thanks to all of us working together. Confirmation Retreat 2017 Thank You! The Confirmation II Retreat 2017 was held at Victory Camp, Alvin, Texas, the weekend of March 3-5. Confirmation II candidates were empowered and embodied by the Holy Spirit through witness testimonies, team building activities, skits, meditations, and last but not least, good fun, food and fellowship. It would not be possible without the countless hours of planning and preparation by the retreat catechists - Marylou Cabrera, Clara Cruz, Dave Pangrazio, Janie Nunez, Mary Ann Mindiola, Roxana Ramirez, Bianca Escobar, Brianna Escobar, Cecilia Perez, Ciara Guajardo, Daniel Hernandez, Frankie Aguirre, Jose Aguilera, Jovana Acuna, Maklin Ramirez, Tinafi Andrade,Tony Villanueva, and Francis Bui; retreat peer leaders - Ricardo Gonzalez, Suzette Alvarenga, Verania Andrade. Preparing for Next Sunday Third Sunday of Lent

In the first reading, fear and need cause Israel to grumble against Moses and the Lord. God responds with water flowing from the rock. The second reading reminds us that salvation is a gift, granted through the cross of Jesus. In the Gospel, Jesus encounters a broken woman at the well. His words renew her and change her life.
