Annual Giving Tree Appeal

Greetings to all of you from the OLMC Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. Christmas is a special time of the year for all Christians as we celebrate the birth of Christ who brought his love into the world.

Our goal as Vincentians is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. We ask for your support to enable our Vincentians to respond to calls for the needy throughout the year by supporting our annual appeal.

During the Christmas season, we will share Christ’s love by delivering food baskets and gifts from under the Giving Tree to many needy families.

We wish to thank the many parishioners who respond so generously to our annual appeal. Envelopes will be included in the bulletin on December 1 & 2, 2018. Please note tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.

(Spiritual Director) Spiritual Direction is concerned with helping

a person directly in their relationship with

God. This is achieved by identifying how

God is involved in their day to day life. There

Our Bazaar last weekend was a great

success. We raised $10,300.00 for the

missions. The monies will be donated

to the following:

India-Family Support, Mission Jesuits/

Fr. Ruiz/Lepers, Grey Sisters of the

Immaculate Conception/Dominican

Birthright/Greater Windsor, Welcome

Centre, St. Vincent de Paul Society,

St. James Elementary School (Breakfast

Program).

Over the past 30 or more years, the

Mission Group has raised $419,805.00.

The Mission Group appreciates all the

support that the parish & the

parishioners have given us.

Odette School of Business, at the

University of Windsor, will be selling

working with the downtown mission to

support homeless youth in Windsor.
