About the Temple

The topmost stone weighs 80 tons is lifted without latest technology which baffles engineers till this day.

The 58 m tall and 13 storeyed Vimanam is built up with stones with bonding and notching without mortar.

The temple’s area is about 750 feet by 400 feet in a fort surrounded by a moat.
