Our commitment to eco-performance Our commitment to eco-responsibility started when the center was

designed in 1998, even though at the time the High Environmental Quality standard did not yet exist in the area of construction.

– We built a 300-space underground parking, and chose to locate truck delivery platforms underground, as well.

– We commissioned a study of the fauna and the flora in order to preserve species.

– We used materials with high energy properties.

We established an action plan and a range of indicators to measure the results of our actions.

In 2008, we obtained the European Ecolabel, an irrefutable recognition of our efforts and commitment.

Catering– Seasonality: 4 annual menus - 90% of the products served are seasonal.– Preference given to organic and fair trade agriculture (breakfast is100% organic)– In total, 40% of food purchases are organic– Food miles limitations and elimination of products transported by plane

replacement of individual bottles of water with water fountains and to the use of water-saving washing machines.

transportation,

Waste recovery– Generalized selective sorting: 40 tons of waste recovered for each 60 tons produced.– All single-use personal care products (soap, shampoo, etc.) and food products (sugar,

butter, jams, etc.) have been replaced by eco-labeled eco-pumps for personal care products and by large containers for food products.
