It’s Christmas time in Prince Edwards Island, and snow has covered Green Gables. Anne Shirley is celebrating with Marilla, Matthew, and the residents in Avonlea. Holly and pine boughs have decorated the homes, and poinsettias are the centerpieces of the Christmas table. You can almost smell the gingerbread baking as a part of the celebrations and see the glistening snow on the roof tops in Avonlea.
