Lorpen es la única marca del mundo que fabrica los calcetines con 3 capas de hilo diferenciadas (Tecnología T3). Incluye:
• Un hilo hidrófobo en contacto con la piel que expulsa el sudor y mantiene seca la piel.

NEW LIMITS IN SOCK TECHNOLOGY: 3 LAYERS AGAINST BLENDS
Lorpen is the only sock brand in the world that manufactures socks with 3 layers of yarn differentiated (T3 Technology). It includes:
• A hydrophobic yarn in contact with the skin that wicks the moisture outside keeping the skin dry.
• A hydrophilic yarn in the mid-outer side that absorbs the moisture out of the skin and spreads it for a faster drying.
• A resistant yarn in the outside (usually Nylon) that protects the areas most exposed to friction depending on type and level of activity.
Hay muchos calcetines baratos con un solo hilo en el mercado (T1), mejor o peor fabricados y muchos calcetines considerados técnicos que llevan dos capas (T2), con un hilo que en contacto con la piel que mezcla diferentes tipos de fibras ofreciendo rendimiento limitado para el pie, y refuerzos de Nylon en zonas concretas.
Solamente la tecnología exclusiva T3 permite obtener el máximo rendimiento de cada tipo de hilo para un máximo beneficio para el pie del deportista.
The most basic socks incorporate one fiber with nylon in the middle (T1). The socks considered as more technical have two layers (T2), with one yarn that could blend different type of fibers (hydrophobic and hydrophilic) offering a limited performance for the foot, and nylon reinforcements in certain areas.
Only our exclusive T3 technology provides the maximum performance of each type of yarn for the maximum benefit for the athlete’s feet.

MÁXIMA CALIDAD DE TERMINACIÓN
Para saber si un calcetín técnico, lleve los hilos que lleve, está fabricado con alto o bajo nivel, es importante fijarse en 4 aspectos:
1. La elasticidad o adaptabilidad: Hace que el calcetín se adapte bien a cada pie de cada talla, sin arrugas ni pliegues que pueden provocar ampollas. La elasticidad la aporta el hilo Stretch nylon, con alma de elastano y recubierto con nylon. Cuanto más porcentaje de hilo Stretch nylon, más elasticidad, y cuanto mejor sea el elastano, más duradero ese nivel de elasticidad de calcetín nuevo. La Lycra® es el mejor hilo elastano del mercado. Lorpen coloca hasta un 10% de hilo Strech nylon with lycra en toda la estructura de sus calcetines, algo que nadie supera en el mercado mundial. Por eso se adaptan también después de años de uso y muchos lavados.
2. La costura de puntera: No existe un calcetín sin costura. Si alguien lo dice, miente. Un calcetín barato tendrá una costura lineal con relieve en el interior de la parte superior de la puntera. Uno mediocre la tendrá con relieve en la misma zona por la parte exterior. Un calcetín técnico Lorpen lleva una costura sin relieve que une cada punto con otro sin superponer, por eso se llama punto por punto (SBS Toe Seam).
3. Diferentes densidades: Un calcetín técnico tendrá diferentes densidades de tejido dependiendo del deporte para el que se haya diseñado. Acolchados protectores en zonas de pisada, des-agujados o mallas abiertas en zonas para refrescar el pie, etc. Lorpen tiene su propia tecnología multi-densidad llamada MDK = Multiple Density Knit.
4. Resistencia y durabilidad: El hilo exterior, en todo el calcetín en el caso de actividades extremas, o en zonas de fricción localizadas, debe ser de gran resitencia (Nylon 6.6). Las gamas extremas de Lorpen llevan Nylon en todo el exterior, las medias en zonas de fricción. Por eso están “garantizados de por vida”.
BEST SOCK FINISHING QUALITY
To understand if a technical sock, whatever the components are, is manufactured with high or low quality level yarns, it’s important to focus on the following aspects:
1. Elasticity and adaptability: These attributes ensure the sock fits each foot size properly, without wrinkles or creases that can cause blisters. The Stretch nylon yarn, with elastane core and coated with nylon, provides the elasticity. The higher the percentage of Stretch nylon yarn, the greater the elasticity, and the better the elastane, the more long-lasting the elasticity of the new sock. Lycra® is the best elastane yarn on the market. Lorpen uses up to 10% Stretch nylon yarn with lycra throughout the structure of its socks, a level which is unsurpassed on the world market. This is why our socks still fit so well after years of use and multiple washes.
2. The toe seam: There is no sock without toe seam. A cheap sock will have a seam with relief on the inside of top of the toe area. A mediocre sock will have it with relief but on the outside. A Lorpen technical sock incorporates a no relief seam that joins one stitch flat with another interlocking stitch without creating a ridge or any relief, this is why we call it stitch by stitch (SBS Toe Seam).
3. Multiple Density: Every sport activity demands different type of sock thickness and density design. Cushioned areas in pressure points, open mesh in cooling areas, etc. Lorpen technical socks incorporate in each range their own specific density engineering that we call MDK= Multiple Density Knit.
4. Resistance and durability: The outer yarn of the whole sock, in the case of extreme activities, or in localized areas of friction, should be extremely resistant (Nylon 6.6). At Lorpen, we cover the entire sock in Nylon in our extreme ranges, while we reinforce areas of friction in our intermediate ranges. This is why they are “guaranteed for life”.

Coolmax® es una fibra poliéster de Invista® que por su estructura interna acanalada transporta muy eficientemente el sudor de la piel al exterior del calcetín.
Coolmax® is a polyester yarn from Invista® with channels to efficiently transport moisture away from the skin to the outside of the sock.
Hilo Poliéster desarrollado por Primaloft® (nº1 mundial en aislante térmico artificial en prendas técnicas). Resulta una fibra suave, térmicamente aislante, hidrófoba, que expulsa y no absorbe humedad.
A polyester developed by Primaloft® (the worlds best artificial thermal insulator in technical garments). It creates a soft fibre, thermal insulation, hydrophobic that expels and doesn´t absorb moisture.
FIBRAS NATURALES / HIDRÓFILAS: NATURAL FIBRES / HYDROPHILIC:
La lana de oveja Merino, por la mayor longitud (65-100 mm) y el menor diámetro de sus fibras (menos de 24 micras), da como resultado un hilo más suave y de rizo más fino que es más agradable en contacto con la piel. El núcleo de la fibra es hidrófilo (retiene la humedad) y transpirable. Al ser una fibra que retiene el calor incluso húmeda, es la fibra intermedia en los calcetines T3 Lorpen para temperaturas más frías.
Merino sheep's wool, because of its greater length (65- 100 mm) and thinner diameter of its fibres (less than 24 micron), results in a softer yarn with finer curls pleasant to the touch. The fibre's core is hydrophilic (retains moisture) and breathes. Since this fibre heats up, even when humid, this is the middle fibre in the T3 Lorpen for colder temperatures.

Lorpen is the only sock brand in the world that manufactures socks with 3 layers of yarn differentiated (T3 Technology). It includes:
• A hydrophobic yarn in contact with the skin that wicks the moisture outside keeping the skin dry.
• A hydrophilic yarn in the mid-outer side that absorbs the moisture out of the skin and spreads it for a faster drying.
• A resistant yarn in the outside (usually Nylon) that protects the areas most exposed to friction depending on type and level of activity.
Hay muchos calcetines baratos con un solo hilo en el mercado (T1), mejor o peor fabricados y muchos calcetines considerados técnicos que llevan dos capas (T2), con un hilo que en contacto con la piel que mezcla diferentes tipos de fibras ofreciendo rendimiento limitado para el pie, y refuerzos de Nylon en zonas concretas.
Solamente la tecnología exclusiva T3 permite obtener el máximo rendimiento de cada tipo de hilo para un máximo beneficio para el pie del deportista.
The most basic socks incorporate one fiber with nylon in the middle (T1). The socks considered as more technical have two layers (T2), with one yarn that could blend different type of fibers (hydrophobic and hydrophilic) offering a limited performance for the foot, and nylon reinforcements in certain areas.

MÁXIMA CALIDAD DE TERMINACIÓN
Para saber si un calcetín técnico, lleve los hilos que lleve, está fabricado con alto o bajo nivel, es importante fijarse en 4 aspectos:
1. La elasticidad o adaptabilidad: Hace que el calcetín se adapte bien a cada pie de cada talla, sin arrugas ni pliegues que pueden provocar ampollas. La elasticidad la aporta el hilo Stretch nylon, con alma de elastano y recubierto con nylon. Cuanto más porcentaje de hilo Stretch nylon, más elasticidad, y cuanto mejor sea el elastano, más duradero ese nivel de elasticidad de calcetín nuevo. La Lycra® es el mejor hilo elastano del mercado. Lorpen coloca hasta un 10% de hilo Strech nylon with lycra en toda la estructura de sus calcetines, algo que nadie supera en el mercado mundial. Por eso se adaptan también después de años de uso y muchos lavados.
2. La costura de puntera: No existe un calcetín sin costura. Si alguien lo dice, miente. Un calcetín barato tendrá una costura lineal con relieve en el interior de la parte superior de la puntera. Uno mediocre la tendrá con relieve en la misma zona por la parte exterior. Un calcetín técnico Lorpen lleva una costura sin relieve que une cada punto con otro sin superponer, por eso se llama punto por punto (SBS Toe Seam).
3. Diferentes densidades: Un calcetín técnico tendrá diferentes densidades de tejido dependiendo del deporte para el que se haya diseñado. Acolchados protectores en zonas de pisada, des-agujados o mallas abiertas en zonas para refrescar el pie, etc. Lorpen tiene su propia tecnología multi-densidad llamada MDK = Multiple Density Knit.
4. Resistencia y durabilidad: El hilo exterior, en todo el calcetín en el caso de actividades extremas, o en zonas de fricción localizadas, debe ser de gran resitencia (Nylon 6.6). Las gamas extremas de Lorpen llevan Nylon en todo el exterior, las medias en zonas de fricción. Por eso están “garantizados de por vida”.
BEST SOCK FINISHING QUALITY
To understand if a technical sock, whatever the components are, is manufactured with high or low quality level yarns, it’s important to focus on the following aspects:
1. Elasticity and adaptability: These attributes ensure the sock fits each foot size properly, without wrinkles or creases that can cause blisters. The Stretch nylon yarn, with elastane core and coated with nylon, provides the elasticity. The higher the percentage of Stretch nylon yarn, the greater the elasticity, and the better the elastane, the more long-lasting the elasticity of the new sock. Lycra® is the best elastane yarn on the market. Lorpen uses up to 10% Stretch nylon yarn with lycra throughout the structure of its socks, a level which is unsurpassed on the world market. This is why our socks still fit so well after years of use and multiple washes.
2. The toe seam: There is no sock without toe seam. A cheap sock will have a seam with relief on the inside of top of the toe area. A mediocre sock will have it with relief but on the outside. A Lorpen technical sock incorporates a no relief seam that joins one stitch flat with another interlocking stitch without creating a ridge or any relief, this is why we call it stitch by stitch (SBS Toe Seam).
3. Multiple Density: Every sport activity demands different type of sock thickness and density design. Cushioned areas in pressure points, open mesh in cooling areas, etc. Lorpen technical socks incorporate in each range their own specific density engineering that we call MDK= Multiple Density Knit.
4. Resistance and durability: The outer yarn of the whole sock, in the case of extreme activities, or in localized areas of friction, should be extremely resistant (Nylon 6.6). At Lorpen, we cover the entire sock in Nylon in our extreme ranges, while we reinforce areas of friction in our intermediate ranges. This is why they are “guaranteed for life”.

Coolmax® es una fibra poliéster de Invista® que por su estructura interna acanalada transporta muy eficientemente el sudor de la piel al exterior del calcetín.

Hilo Poliéster desarrollado por Primaloft® (nº1 mundial en aislante térmico artificial en prendas técnicas). Resulta una fibra suave, térmicamente aislante, hidrófoba, que expulsa y no absorbe humedad.
A polyester developed by Primaloft® (the worlds best artificial thermal insulator in technical garments). It creates a soft fibre, thermal insulation, hydrophobic that expels and doesn´t absorb moisture.
FIBRAS NATURALES / HIDRÓFILAS: NATURAL FIBRES / HYDROPHILIC:
La lana de oveja Merino, por la mayor longitud (65-100 mm) y el menor diámetro de sus fibras (menos de 24 micras), da como resultado un hilo más suave y de rizo más fino que es más agradable en contacto con la piel. El núcleo de la fibra es hidrófilo (retiene la humedad) y transpirable. Al ser una fibra que retiene el calor incluso húmeda, es la fibra intermedia en los calcetines T3 Lorpen para temperaturas más frías.
Merino sheep's wool, because of its greater length (65- 100 mm) and thinner diameter of its fibres (less than 24 micron), results in a softer yarn with finer curls pleasant to the touch. The fibre's core is hydrophilic (retains moisture) and breathes. Since this fibre heats up, even when humid, this is the middle fibre in the T3 Lorpen for colder temperatures.
