Pre Ritual Instructions Spend the day thinking about others in your life and about yourself as well. Ask yourself questions like: What has this person done for me emotionally? What have I done for this person? What are some things I would like to change about myself? Remember, this is a time of new beginnings, growth, and fertility.

Circle Casting Starting in the east and slowly walking clockwise in a circle toward the south, west, north then back to the east, visualize a bright white light circling you and chant:

“This is my scared place you see; Safe and Secure, I shall always be.

This is my scared place you see; It keeps all harm, away from me.”

Repeat above two (2) more times, but, on the last turn, chant:

“My circle is closed and is now bound; The barrier will never be brought down.

I cast this circle on this night; I cast it with all my might.

So Mote It Be!”

“I call upon the Guardians of the west, element of Water. We ask you to join us on this Ostara night of celebration. Hail and Welcome!”

“I call upon the Guardians of the north, element of Earth. We ask you to join us on this Ostara night of celebration. Hail and Welcome!”

Ritual work Take the potting soil and place a small amount in EACH of the empty spaces of the egg carton. Take your finger and make a hole in the center of the dirt in each. Open 1 packet of seeds and put 1-2 seeds in each of the holes and then put some of the dirt over them while chanting: “The mother earth will keep you safe.” Pick up your bowl of water, with your hand, scoop up a little water and water your seeds (DON’T overdo It.) while chanting: “The life giver will help you grow and give you love always.” Hold the un-opened packet of seed your hand and hold your hands up over your head and say:

“Goddess Eostre, bless these seeds on this night. Grant the person that receives these seeds, healing, positive self-esteem, emotional understanding and unconditional love always.

So Mote It Be!” Place the packet of seeds in the envelope and close. Take the pen and on the front of the envelope write:

‘May these seeds bring you Love and Peace always.’

Cakes and Ale Hold up your cakes & ale and make a toast to the goddess by saying:

“Goddess Eostre, we eat and drink on this night in your blessed honor.” Eat and Drink.
