What is Orthopedics?• Orthopedics is the branch of medicine
which deals with correction of deformities appearing in the musculoskeletal system . Our musculoskeletal system is made up of bones, joins, ligaments, muscles and nerves.

Diseases Treated by Orthopedics
• Achilles Tendinitis It is a common condition
that causes pain along the back of the leg near the heel.
• Hammer Toe This condition occurs
when muscles get tighten and bends.

• Hip Dysplasia This condition is

It is also known as Patellofemeral Pain Syndrome. This is due to irritation in the cartilage which is present on the back of patella.

• Frozen Shoulder This is the condition when the elimination

• Erb's palsy Erb’s palsy is a paralysis of the arm caused by injury to the upper group of the arm's main nerves.
