High School Classes

• Smithville High SchoolIn high school you have to take certain classes to go to college and be an orthodontist. You have to take science classes and math classes. You have to take anatomy, biology, and chemistry. You also have to take hard math classes like calculus, geometry, or trigonometry.

SAT and ACT

• The SAT TestThe SAT and the ACT are

very important tests you have to take to get into college. If you are low in your class rank then you have to score really high on these tests to get into a good college.

There are 20 SAT subjects. They fall in the categories of math, reading, and writing.

The ACT is another important test to take. The subjects of those tests are english, math, reading, and science.

You can get into a good college if you score high on the SAT and the ACT. You can get into a good college if you have bad grades, but you score high on these tests anyway.

Degrees

• A PhD Degree From University of Michigan School of Dentistry

To have a profession you need to have a degree. A Bachelor’s Degree Shows you have completed 4 years of college. If you don’t have a degree then you haven’t completed college.

You need a PhD Degree in science to be an orthodontist. To get a PhD Degree you have to get a Bachelor’s Degree, and a Doctoral Degree, then you can get a PhD.

Annual Income

Almost every job you get pays you. Some jobs pay you small amounts of money and others can pay you a lot of money.

The average amount of money, or income, orthodontists make each year is about $186,320. That would be $80 an hour.
