There is a place in the corner of a childs mind

Where the anthem of the unwanted is played.

Where parents stood off far away like stars

And were worshiped liked gods.

Where music hums the joy of a smile and one full hug

And wails the lament of a thousand missed moments

Falling like autumn leaves away from a dying tree,

Never to reform on the limb.

This is where the child perseveres.

Tomorrow will be the day!

In the morning things will be different.

I will open my eyes and there shell be.

She will say Ive been looking for you.
