…Experiences in Daily Life

Volunteering in a rented two room orphanage that has a moderate sized outdoor covered porch (pictured above) and very small barren dirt walled courtyard with thirty children. All five orphanage staff are local native volunteers.

…The Focus! What to do Now!

1. Provide financial, material, and volunteer assistance to the orphanage on both short-term and long-term care improvement targets

2. Provide assistance to the family that provided me with food and shelter during my two month stay –their home has subsequently been destroyed by flooding since I left Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso -Africa

The New Orphanage has already been built, titled, and provided But needs electrical, water, furniture, and other final details!!

The Cute Guest-houses already built but need the same details as the other buildings! Wow the work of past, but now absent donors…

Five Areas Of Need: Food - more nutrition Shelter - cramped (sleep on floor), usually naked Medical - nonexistent Play - very cramped, limited recreation area Education - not existent!

Medical: Begin a program of hygiene training, vaccinations, prevention, and fundraising for needed child surgeries
