    SUMMARY OF APPLICATIONS AND USAGES FOR CALCULATIONS

    FPS System of Units

    1. Tab "Plate & Flowrate"

    This sheet is primarily for selecting the appropriate orifice plate diameter,

    to the nearest quarter inch, for desired flow rate and differential. The table of

    "Key" values is identical to the table in printed form in the Data Book.

    The procedures contained under this Tab calculates the Key value for Natural Gas,

    Natural Gas Liquids or Steam. From this Key value, a plate size can be selected from

    the Table. The Table Value can then be entered and an approximate flow rate

    is calculated.

    2. Tabs "NatGas", "NGL" & "Steam".

    These sheets are primarily for calculating a Flow Rate for a given set of

    operating data for the three named types of materials. Based on the inputoperating conditions, the results will be precise.

    Orifice plates can also be sized using these programs by using a trial and error

    approach. The results are displayed very quickly so the user can converge

    rapidly on a plate ID which will produce the desired flow rate.

    3. Tab"OrificeWellTest".

    This sheet calculates flow rate for Natural Gas using the Orifice Well Tester.

    4. Tab "PipeRupture"

    This sheet calculates an approximate flow rate based on the correlation

    contained in the GPSA Data Book.

    5. Tab "Std_2145-02"

    This sheet contains the FPS data for GPA Std 2145-02.

    These tabs for SI Units are parallel to those shown above for FPS Units and are in the same sequence.
