SEAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (SEAT IEC), the nonprofit division of SEATCaribbean, LLC, has announced the launch of the Three Queens Ventures Women’s BusinessAccelerator Program, which is geared at supporting female entrepreneurs in the U. S. Virgin Islandswho are interested in growing or expanding their current businesses. Three Queens Ventures wasmade possible, in part, through a grant furnished by the Community Foundation of the VirginIslands, according to a release issued Saturday.

The initial focus of Three Queens Ventures will be on female makers, artists, craftspeople, designers,and small batch manufacturers who reside in the USVI and whose products are made andmanufactured in the territory, stated the release. Through an individualized business developmentprogram, each entrepreneur will enhance her skills, acquire new knowledge and training, learn bestbusiness practices, and receive mentorship and guidance from professionals within their industry.

Additionally, every participant will have an opportunity to access seed funding and potential marketpartnerships that are critical to her business, stated the release. Three Queens Ventures aims tobuild a collective comprised of a network of like-minded women whose primary objective is to scaletheir existing business for success, while providing employment opportunities and contributing tothe economic development of the USVI.

“We look forward to providing a platform and an opportunity for creative women to build andenhance their brands - in a supportive and empowering environment,” said Beverly Goodwine, co-founder of SEAT Caribbean/SEAT IEC. Additionally, Sonja Sulcer, co-founder of SEATCaribbean/SEAT IEC stated, “We are excited to launch the venture and look forward to helping thewomen maximize their potential.” For more info, go here.
