The Program Outline

PowerPoint presentation was used throughout the 2-day program, to allow participants a better grasp of HR concepts, UN literature, etc.

The first day program includes…

Inaugural Celebration (see:- Video ),

Introduction about IARF, RFYN, UN

Three Documentaries, & discussion on UDHR (See:- Video / )

Ice-breaking sessions (See :- Video ).

The second day program contains the sharing of Current Human Rights issues and stories, practicing UDHR to bring peace and harmony among the

religions and in the society (See:- Video ) and also the future plan and selection of members to support existing HRE&T young adult team in

Madhya Pradesh.

Issues Discussed in Detail

1. Social Security: though we celebrated 60 years for UDHR, but still the society is facing number of human rights abuses. There is no social

security for a common person. The participants discussed two issues regarding social security. 1). Many young adults were arrested by the

police in the name of enquiry. They also some time torture them without any reasons. The consequences met by the young adults are

countless. 2). Thousands of young adults had delight to go for Indian army, but now non one is ready to go for, because of social security.

Recently some of the Indian soldiers were killed in a very crucially by the neighbouring country.

2. Inter-Caste Marriage: The issue about inter-caste marriage was shared by Suchita Mishra, who experiences her neighbouring man who

married a girl from other caste. These two young married couple was affected by the local community including their own family people.

They were not given house for rent and people were talking negative about them. The particular family was criticized very badly and it made

them to move to other place to find better resident to have better life without any discrimination. Even in this developed society the young

adults are not having the freedom to marry to whom they like. (See:- Video )
