We will be accepting written comment on the proposed Oregon Administrative Rule changes by June 1, 2020 when the proposed changes are filed with the Secretary of State. We will hold a public hearing during the next regular quarterly board meeting on Friday, July 24, 2020. All public comments must be received by the Board by 9:00 a.m. Friday July 24, 2020. The OBMI is changing the way renewals, license and permit applications and all exam applications will be accepted.

ANSWER KEY TO WHAT IS THIS?

The locations of the fractures are identified by the yellow arrows.

The anatomical areas include the II and IV metacarpal bones of an Equine (a horse of course!).

Fractures of what are more commonly known as “splint bones” are caused from trauma or from working at speed.
