Customer

Ametera is a manufacturing company whose

core business is the production of universal

vacuum cleaner dust bags.

Ametera is an SME from North-Eastern Italy

(Veneto Region) whose core business is the

production and marketing of universal dust bags for

vacuum cleaners, under the I-Genio Trade Mark.

I-Genio is the only

“made in Italy” product

that can be used on any

vacuum cleaner and has

been patented as such.

The ProblemThe Problem

The customer, as a pre-requisite for

marketing its product through major

commercial resellers and distributors,

decided to make its marketing

processes compliant to the Euritmo

standard, thus increasing the

interoperability and semantic

accuracy of its fiscal documents, as

sell orders and invoices.

Objective

• Increase customer base

• Certify the customer to the standard Euritmo

• Secure the communication with the customer

• Improve the selling process

Constraints

• Minimum impact with the user

interface

• Reduce the changes into the

existing applications

• Low Cost

Solution

• Adopt BPM approach

• Create an application to

support missing data

• Corporate restructuring

process

The Solution

The customer would like to

measure the process

performance and find

bottle necks.

Euritmo

What it is:

Eurtimo is a WEB-EDI italian project, realized by Indicod-ECR based on GS1 standard. It uses the Web instead of a private network and has three difference communication approaches: via web, FTP, using a secure communication.

Actors:

• Indicod-ECR: guarantee the standards.

• Service Providers: sell Euritmo services.

• Buyers and Sellers: use the services of

the service providers and partecipate to

the standard definition.

Why Not only EDI:

• EDI has not service providers.

• EDI standardizes only the messages.

• Euritmo defines also the infrastucture.

• Euritmo defines messages and

communication protocols.

• Euritmo standardizes the cost per

message.
