Run a Full load first time in OBIA 11.1.1.9.2.0 Once completed the configuration of BI Apps, next step is to run a full load in BI Apps 11.1.1.9.2.0.
To run a full load first time we have to follow below steps:-
Step1:- Login in <hostname>:port/biacm with credentials created in BI Apps Configuration.
Click on Define Business Intelligence Application Instance in System Setups
After logging in BIACM, Need to create a source connection from where we have to extract data.
Step2:- Create a source instance from where we need to pull data as Source System.
Here we have create ORAR source for Oracle EBS .
Click on Next
Fill the details related to JDBC Driver , URL and DB username and password , and click on Test
Click on OK.
After it, Click on Technology: File System Tab in Connection Details, and fill the appropriate information
of file server and path.
Then save and close.
Now Source database connection has been created in BIACM.
Now login to ODI Topology Manager and Check for the above created source connection.
Check for Target Connection as well.
No need to create Target connection until you are not loading data into different schema other then
OBAW.
Once created source/target connections, Now we have to configure the modules for which we are going
to load data like Financial Analytics, HR Analytics, Project Analytics, SCM, Order Management etc.
Step3:- Now Click on Functional Configurations to perform Functional Configurations
Step 4: Click on Configure Offerings.
Select Offerings to configure and click on Save and Close.
Step 5: Click on Manage Implementation Project and click on Add Tasks.
Select domain which you want to create tasks .
Click on Done, once completed.
Step 6: Now Again come to biacm
Step 7: Click on Manage Load Plans
add Load plans by clicking on Plus sign button.
Click on Next and then Click on Generate
So, first Load plan created for Domain files only.
Create another Load Plan for Load Data into warehouse tables.
Click on Next and select the offering and module data which you want to load.
Then Click on Generate.
Once click on Generate button , after few minutes it will looks like as
Now you can Click on Run button to start the Execution of Load Plan.
Once started the Load plan , you can check the status in ODI Operator.
Mark Complete a Failed Task:- To mark completed a task , just go to ODI Operator-->Load Plan Executions
select the appropriate load plan and double click on it.
Right click on the failed task and select Mark as Completed.
