Pratt & Whitney recommended WebECTM ® Services, Camp Systemscan provide expert engine condition analysis via a subscription service.

Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) analysis is a process oftaking data from the FAST™ system installed on the Caravan and elec-tronically comparing them to a mathematical set of typical or predictableengine characteristics. Reports keep the operator informed of the inter-nal condition of the engine. If anomalies are found, the operator isimmediately notified. ECTM allows for early detection of compressorand/or turbine deterioration, thereby minimizing secondary issues andoverall repair costs. Engine condition trend monitoring is a requirementto obtain the optional extended TBO per Pratt & Whitney CanadaService Bulletin SB1903R2 (or latest revision). A TBO extension allowsthe engine to be operated beyond the initial 3600 hours if certain crite-ria are met and can significantly reduce operating costs.
