Biz Adelaide - New Web TV ShowTo promote local businesses in the southern Adelaide area, Optical Design have launched Biz Adelaide Web TV. The concept is for local businesses to secure segments on an infomercial type web show that will be streamed on the Biz Adelaide web site and embeded into the clients own site. To keep costs down for participating businesses, initially fees will be based on finished product time not on production costs.

Glen Roy Davie Signs Glenroydavie Signs & Visual Soloutions is a local Seaford business that specialises in wide-format printing. They can produce items as small as a sticker to signs and banners 1.3m wide and as long as is required. The finished product can be used for vehicles, buildings & sign boards. Special uses include labelling of road cases and equipment branding. The owner of GlenRoyDavie Signs & Visual Solutions, Glen Davie said that his entry into his own business was by accident but he’s never looked back and has a constant view to expansion of his business. Glen is also very customer service oriented and has a “let us have a go” attitude. The Process Printing is performed on a wide format Roland printer. Vinyl is fed into the printer from a roll attached to the machine. As it is fed the protective covering is removed just before the print process and discarded to a waste roll which is also attached to the machine. The ensures the surface is not damaged or contaminated. Longevity of the print is about 3 years unlaminated and can be extended to about 6 years if laminated. The lamination service can also be provided by Glen.

Special Signage Glenroydavie Signs & Visual Solutions is a major supplier of signs to the real estate industry Australia-wide. The product is a virtually indestructible folding sign that can be used for open inspections and other displays. These signs are specifically design to handle the rigorous demands of out-door use. The sign is designed so if damaged the printed surface can easily be removed and replaced. An example Glen gave was the sign being run over by a car. The sign print is removed and a new copy attached at minimal expense to the owner. A normal sign would have to be completely replaced.
